Come on Adders let's go live!!
Be interesting to see how this window unfolds in general given the current state of the world at large. You would assume some clubs will be in a position where they have no choice but to cash in and it may be a good window to look to the lower leagues for strong potential outside of the obvious first team improvements.
Cinci, I made this point some weeks ago, mentioning Greasy Jack and Tod Cantwell as possible targets.
I do believe we must look for home grown talent as well as abroad, with cost being a big factor especially in the current climate. Lots of clubs will be looking for cash injections and be willing to sell players.
We will see..

Home grown talent may well become a factor. I haven't checked this but I suspect Wolves have fewer English players in their squad than any other prem team. We have Ruddy, Coady, MGW and Kilman plus Bennett out on loan though I suspect he will be gone soon.
Doc is also classed as home grown though.
Will Vinagre class as homegrown next season. The criteria is trained at a club/nation for 3 years before their 21st birthday.
Funding has been earmarked to build a new pedestrian crossing across Wolverhampton ring road. So fans going to Molineux will soon have the choice of going over or under the ring road, via the famed subway, from the city centre
The 20/21 football calendar is expected to be announced on Friday including the start date for the new Premier League season
Pedestrian crossing good idea, takes ages walking through the congested subway and a surprisingly large number of people climb onto ring road and run across which is dangerous for all concerned
After the game that is, not so bad before
That's true, can lead to a mad dash for the train if you get caught up in that. Oh for the days when you could cram in to a 70 yard tunnel with 300 other people.
Just been reading about Blouse retiring the number 22 shirt in honour of Jude Bellingham, a 17 year old kid that's played one season and scored four goals. You really do wonder how they came to that decision.
I think it will be mainly due to him signing a new contract just before so they got a big fee. Probably single handedly save the club from financial trouble.
Still embarrassing nonetheless.
We have to remember that Blues don’t have an awful lot to treasure from their history so need to make a big deal about things like this. A guy I know got invited to hospitality at St Andrews for a Wolves away game there. It included a trip to their trophy room. The guide introduced them to some of their prized possessions like the shirt Trevor Francis wore on his Blues debut, the shirt Trevor Francis wore on his England debut and the shirt Kenny Burns wore on his Scotland debut. My mate who had had a few wines shouted up ‘I thought we were going to the trophy room not the f*****g laundry’
Two years ago today Wolves signed Joao Moutinho from Monaco for £5m.
Daylight robbery... sorry ... excellent piece of advise by the clubs trusted advisor Mr. Mendes.

We used to climb the two barriers to get across from the Faculty of Art & Design to reach the refectory, when it was in the original Polytechnic building. Not sure I'd be able to do it quite so easily these days...
"If Wolves achieve 7th place and Chelsea win the FA Cup, Europa League football will again be gifted to Wolves (provided that Chelsea are, of course still in the top 4)"
Spurs haven't got an easy fixture against Palace away, however if they manage to beat them...not the end of the world.
Roll over on Sunday and we'll make sure to defeat Arsenal in the FA CUP final
Alternatively you might go on to win Europa and earn a place in the CL (doubtful), but who knows.
Kante back in the lineup for us on Sunday increases our chances of victory.
Our lineup could be something like this:
Kepa/Caballero
Tomori Christensen Zouma
James Kante Kovacic Azpi
Hudson-Odoi Tammy Pulisic

Dodgy at the back and strong at the front. Pity about Kante, really rate him.
So yeah a roll over and tummy tickle on Sunday would be nice. I think Man U will have their hands full with Leicester as well. I just have no idea how it will all work out. Let's just hope for some good quality football and may the best team win
Confirmed now that the 20/21 league season starts on September 12th and some level of spectator attendance will be allowed from October 1st as long as there is no spike in virus infections
I guess we can expect the usual cautious approach by Nuno, with team selection and game plan. Can’t fault him, but I would be inclined to start Traore to give them problems from the off, it would be a shame to be putting him on when we are 2 down and wondering what would have happened, I am not sure Jota is worth his place over Podence or Neto

I think the team set up may depend on whether Dendoncker is kept in defence or moved back to midfield. Hopefully defence as it’s good to keep a stable back 3, don’t want Boly moving position every game.
Don’t think I would change the approach at this stage of the season as it’s got us to this position. With Traore’s shoulder issues and because it’s great to have him fresh for the last 30 minutes I’d be happy to see him on the bench and start with Podence and Jota either side of Raul
