At least we're spending our own money unlike you guys who are neck deep in debt.

United are spending beyond their ability all in desperation to win trophies. Better hope the banks don't call in their loans soon.

That's it, keep it coming. You'll feel much better once it's all out.

Can one still spend beyond one’s ability?

Interest rates are very low. It would be silly not to utilise the debt market to invest in the squad now.

Also @mancini, it's not you're money it's your sugar daddy's money.

People cry at City for this, but usually they actually get a good price for their purchases, Utd are something else. 200M for Maguire and Sancho. Facking disgraceful.

£90m broken down over 3 years, £18m in add ons.

Basic wage is £200k with add-ons taking it up to £300k.

That's hardly disastrous considering Real Madrid paid more for an ageing Hazard in his last year of contract.

At least United make their own money and are upfront about it. No sneaky inflated deals or backhanders. We stick to the rules.

When you see what they've paid for their transfers it's actually not that bad for any one signing. Sancho makes it 3 United signings more expensive than any City signing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’d rather pay £108m for Sancho than £50m for John Stones, now that is distorting the market

Well it's annoying because you and PSG have almost singlehandedly made the price of an average player 50M instead of the 20M it was just 5 years or so ago.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It all started when you paid £35m for Andy Carroll!

- OP, we've still got to spend £100m on a centre-back for next season, so pace yourself.
