237 seconds to go.

Too many players thinking about their next career move. It's like they gave up a month ago and are just doing as little as possible.

Halfy leads us into Europe again !

Into the QFs and the worry is Seville are probably a level up on Olympiakos. Can’t wait for that game

Best result in my lifetime, went out for a run around kick off time as didnt want to think about it.

I'm not sure it was a fabulous game DJ. Nail biting for sure and two world class saves from Patricio, kept us in front. Have to agree with Gem that Traore is far better as an impact sub. I like Jimenez, but he really needs to step up a gear. He's been out of sorts of late and how did Jota miss that opportunity.

A far better performance is needed, or Seville will destroy us. For that game I'd go 3-5-2 with Dendonker in the middle and Podence/Jimenez up front

You have to say, defensively we're as good as any left in the tournament. We have similar qualities to Seville but we will need to sharpen up up front. What a position to be in though. Bring it on.

If you didn’t enjoy that game wolfie I would go and watch a different sport.

I’d give Jiménez 9 out of 10 tonight and I thought Patricio, Coady, Boly and Podence were also excellent

Apparently Podence is now suspended, that result gives us a real achievement, what a fantastic 3 seasons

Yes Podence got a yellow tonight for not leaving the pitch at the closest point. That yellow along with the ones he picked up whilst playing for Olympiacos means he has a 1 match suspension.

That was torture while driving, sounds like we mugged one and even VAR went our way for once. Take it mind but don't see any way past Sevilla if recent performances are any sign. Ironically about two mins after full time I drove past the town of Seville and the number 3, I hope that isn't a sign.

Can't agree it was a fabulous game. We were pretty poor and got a little lucky. Definitely put my nerves to the test.

Still it was a great result and we have a Europa League QF to look forward to.

Sevilla haven't lost in 18 games I think I heard

When asked about Jonny after the game Nuno said ‘it doesn’t look good’. May well be the last time we see him this summer

posted on 7/8/20

So that is two players out and Moutinho probably should have been looked after as well for concussion.

Wouldn't normally think it best but don't see anything other than 3-5-2 working for the next game. We are going to get pummeled I suspect so the counter will actually be our best chance of sneaking something.

One thing what really was highlighted with these two games is how little many footy fans know. Greek champions were comfortably as good as the seventh best side in England.

Also, how many times will we see Jota waste golden chances, luckily tonight it wasn't a critical miss but it very well could have been, so frustrating.

And finally, a Europa QF, feckin awesome and I see the QF as a free game, we go into it given little hope but you never know with one off games especially as it's on neutral ground and no shame if we can't get past a side that have won three of these Europa cups this bleedin decade and come from Europe's strongest division.

Can't wait for Tuesday, mega excited.

I didn't say "I didn't enjoy" the game, DJ, I said it was nail biting and to give Jimenez 9/10 is outrageous. Patricio was my MoM and Coady came a close second. Boly is much suited on the left and that's why I think we need to strengthen our right side in the summer. I agree with Tam... it wasn't a fabulous game. Maybe you desire for a libation or two has clouded your vision of the match.

Overall, I thought we were second best and yes VAR was on our side for once.

Sevilla are going to be a tougher test, but I'm glad we're through to the QF and I'm sure we'll play better.

Didn't realize Podence will be absent, so it has to be 3-5-2 with either Jots or Neto up front with Jimenez.
