That doesn't make the crossing legal, we should be bringing them in and returning them to France ASAP to discourage people making the journey but current laws don't allow it. People have died coming on those boats and will do again

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just wow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
?
You think we should encourage people including children and pregnant women to sail across the channel in a little dinghy instead of claiming asylum in one of the richest countries in the world?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we should meet our agreed quota like everyone else yes and even if we exceeded it I would welcome them. They're not economic migrants and if you think they are you're a fool which coupled with being dead inside, as you clearly are, is not a good mix.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If they're genuine asylum seekers they should be seeking asylum in France... there not escaping war or persecution in France so they're economic migrants.

Doesn't mean it's right or something we should encourage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just wow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
?
You think we should encourage people including children and pregnant women to sail across the channel in a little dinghy instead of claiming asylum in one of the richest countries in the world?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we should meet our agreed quota like everyone else yes and even if we exceeded it I would welcome them. They're not economic migrants and if you think they are you're a fool which coupled with being dead inside, as you clearly are, is not a good mix.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What quotas are they? The ones set by the EU?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah the ones that have us taking less per caputa than France Germany and Spain. Also the ones that "protected" us but people like you voted to get rid of so all those nasty brown people coming here will increase. Good job little buddy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It wasn't that long ago 2 of those nasty brown people went on a stabbing spree.
