Just indicates Southgate sees him as a left sided player. And he’s not getting in ahead of Sancho or Rashford. It’s a shame as his versatility would be useful. He should have been called up by now.

Declan Rice and JWP couldn't even tie Jack's shoe laces. A complete embarassing joke. I'm sure Southgate will give the press the usual PR guff about how hard it was to deny him his 1st cap whilist giving lesser players another chance to prove how great they are playing nothing teams in a pointless tournament.

Who in the attacking lineup would he get ahead of?

Grealish should absolutely be in for me and used as the furthest forward midfielder. I'd have him ahead of Ward-Prowse, who is a good player but obviously there's something else going on.
