Likewise, Bakayoko was extremely sought after having had a couple of fabulous years in France. Deschamps was a huge admirer. I still think he's a good player but for a Mourinho-esque team. He's not technical enough for Sarri or Lampard teams.
-----------------------------------------
Bakayoko does seem to be a confidence player. Once he got into his stride he was pretty decent for Milan in 18/19. And he did have one or two games for us (vs. Utd for e.g) where up until he had to pass or shot he was playing like a really good box-to-box.
He needs a permanent move away from us to move on with his career properly I think. A clean slate.

Since 2018:
Kepa, Jorginho, Pulisic, Kovacic, Ziyech, Werner, Thiago Silva, Chilwell, Havertz.
One bad move (caused by that big nosed c’nt Courtois) in two years now. Best in the business
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Now im not saying they will fail, however how can you list 1 bad move out of all them when 5 of them haven't kicked a ball for chelsea yet?
Fantastic signings on paper I'll grant you that, but why not wait and see how they get on 1st.
Take ziyech for example, for every suarez theres a kezman, for every van nistelrooy theres an alfonso alves.
No issues with being excited about signings but maybe pump the breaks on declaring it the best business since slice bread until they do the business on the pitch

Chelsea have just made the most expensive British transfer
