Everton are not a realistic comparative. Gone are the days where, you label teams in certain categories. Everton are a stagnant club, and I know fans of the club, who feel like they are a mod table side and on a decline.

I'd not be suorised if we got top 6, but not shocked if we got 18th.

First off, well done for working out that massive typo and yes it’s Everton!
I wouldn’t say that about them. I am just saying the step up is steeper than ever before and Sheffield Utd only did well because a few clubs of established ilk were in transition! Won’t be the same this season. The fact that Watford and Villa went down should send alarm bells af the bottom of the league!
It will be a better league this season both at the top end and at the bottom end!

i am optimistic as always, think defense is an issue, we must stop teams before we can beat teams, however, isnt that most in the pl? cups are insignificant, think our fitness will surprise many, whether we can turn that into wins is another thing, keep the faith lads, it is going to be 1 hell of a ride. 16 years of hell into survival, 1st off. stay up & who knows

We have under recruited in some areas, if we don't pick up key injuries, we could get top 10, if we get inuires, we could be another Bournemouth. We're a bit of an unknown really. Excited to see where we slot in.

The question is how will your defence do against quick front players. You play a high line which means a lot of space to run in behind for Salah and Mane.
It is very different from the Championship were most managers are clueless about tactics. I think you will do well against most teams.
I am curious how Bielsa 3313 formation will do against our 433 which means you will play 1v1 in your defensive and midfield line. Maybe you will play 4 in midfield to have a numerical advantage there but the one thing you have is the great movement and rotation he has coached in your team.
Would be happy with 14th.
