Again thats two clear cut chances off target

Hard to criticise Grabban given he scored 20 last season but he does miss a lot of sitters.

No bloody excuse for this fckin manager

He’s beginning to really get on my nerves - we’ve just totally started how we finished last season

A couple more of performances like this and he can fck off

Once again the learning us play attacking football before we go behind.

We’re joint bottom with Derby

Not sure we deserved that; but there is a lot of work to do.

It’s the same brand of “football” as last season. We can look forward to more of this lacklustre, lethargy this season.

Losing at home to Reading is worse though

It’s the first game of the season Rev. Difficult to take much from that. Seems to me that we had the best chances and could easily have won it. I don’t think it’s that bad. It certainly wasn’t turgid defensive football. First half could have been better but there is no way the players are match fit. We need to give it longer to get an idea of how we are doing. There seems to be some better options going forward now too which is promising

Agree rae, we had enough chances to get something from the game. Just poor finishing which is not really the manager’s fault.

It’s the best we’ve got

I am not sure what some people expect? It’s not like we have bought a load of top players and are now gonna walk the league. It’s gonna be a long season.

We need to finish better for sure. By hopefully match sharpness will come. It’s unlike Grabban to miss two sitters in a game

Every bad trait of last season has continued, summed up by conceding in injury time , damage limitation, get rid of SL, he has learnt nothing. He even ruined my JA606 prediction, as I had us to lose only 1-0 😂

Bollox to that - it was a sh!t set up, and ONCE AGAIN an unforgivable lacklustre attitude - we just allowed them to play and become more confident

We didn’t do bc anything until we went behind...and then we end up chasing the game

WTF ever happened to imposing yourself on a team?????

This french pillock hasn’t learnt squat and he’s just producing the same boring, inept crap as the saw et the end of last season

A total waste - and yet we skirt around excuses to justify such crap - the fact is, they were up for it more than we were, AND THAT'S THE MANAGER’S FAULT!

YET AGAIN ANOTHER 90+ minute goal conceded

THIS IS NOT A COINCIDENCE

Absolute garbage approach and attitude from the manager and players

posted on 12/9/20

That’s just your opinion Rev! Not how I saw the game. Don’t see why they had any more desire than we did?

You really want to sack the manager after one game? Ridiculous! It’s the same every year from you. You seem to think we always have the best squad in the league and only a moron could fail to get us up.

What we didn’t want, but half expected was a continuation of the tail end of last season. SL does not even have a plan A never mind B,C,etc. His team and substitutions are baffling at best. The definition of insanity is to do the same thing repeatedly and expect a different outcome, but SL continues regardless, cue the same lame post match excuses, one game in and I have already seen more than enough of this type of dire football.
