I wonder why Saka's not starting. He's been a regular on the bench since not long after he signed the contract extension. Wonder what the plan is for him i.e. will he be a lwb, cm or lw (as he played in all those positions under Arteta).

No Martinez is the squad which means he's definitely being sold.

Dont know why we are pinning all our defensive hopes on Saliba. He's a great talent but he's still super young and will make plenty of mistakes.

He was one of the best CBs in France, last season. Just watching him is enough to understand why we have such belief in him. He could be the best defender in the world.

Yeah, Emi is off. Inevitable, but nonetheless sad.

Zero creativity in that midfield. It's all down to the front 3 to do something special.

Off to Italy.

Saliba is gonna be saved for Europa and League Cup and can hopefully force his way into the team by the end of the year.

Really not liking Saka’s limited game time since he signed a new contract. He was quality vs Liverpool

Looking at that midfield, I agree priority has be Aouar than Partey. That said I will have Ozil on that bench in place of Willock!

Maybe if the game is in the balance, he plans on using Saka and Pepe against tired legs?

I'm ngl, I know Mitrovic isn't playing, but that Kamara has all the attributes which would normally bully our defence. Quick, strong, aggressive, energetic....so I hope the defenders are ready for a battle.

Holding is no shrinking violet, and Gabriel is huge.

Might struggle to break them down if they play deep, we’re playing a much more counter attack suited team today. No midfielders there who can pick a pass in final third, I expect we’ll mostly do damage down the wings. Not much else we can do though today, we just simply need more midfielders

We should in theory have no issues with the long ball once Gabriel and Saliba get together. Both over 6f3 which is great. Finally no more midget cbs.
