Batty, I think that triad of Bamford, Klich and Rodrigo is going to do a lot of damage this year. They give us so much movement in the tight spaces around the box. Like you, I am delighted to apologise to Bamford for all those things I said about him last season. He is made for the Premier League.

Don't worry you'll go back to moaning at how bad he is if he fails to score in the next three games.

Leeds fans do like their players to be a hero or a zero. The criticism last year was about his finishing not his all round play. That criticism was justified. This year he’s started great and deserves the praise he’s getting. It’s 3 games. When he misses a few sitters and we lose will he be sh*t again? Hopefully he’ll get cut a bit of slack.

Well, it's understandable as he was regularly fluffing zillions of chances.

Read elsewhere that playing without crowds suits him better as he's a delicate flower? I don't buy that theory myself. He's shown a great deal of character to work as hard as he has.

It was Beckford who pointed out that he's not a poacher and he doesn't intuitively get into those sweet spots. Roofe was better at doing that than Beckford.

What is sweet is that Bielsa has continued to support him and now that trust is paying off. Bamford is scoring regularly in the PL - how amazing is that! I know it's only three games but he must be feeling exceptionally motivated at present.

And the point about the Bamford-Klich-Rodrigo triangle is a really good one - that's very exciting! We just saw a glimpse of it yesterday...

Once he misses a couple of chances the haters will be back, 100%

Bamford never really had a proper chance at clubs, I'm sure he never felt settled up until recently.
He has the ideal manager in Bielsa who 100% trusts him and I'm sure that's a massive help.

3 in 3. Can't argue with that. Had 3 headers and got all of em wrong apart from the 3rd one which came off his nose. Should comfortably get over 10

I don’t like to blow my own trumpet (much) but I’ve been saying for ages that PB will come good - he’s Just a very Intelligent player who is now thriving on the extra space he seems to be getting in the PL ...and having players alongside who now appear to be on his wavelength.

My mates at the pub have been blasting him for the last two seasons but they are now enjoying the humble pie.

If he scores 10 like that this season, he'll end up with a nose like Steve Bruce's!

He also revealed in his most match interviews smart game awareness and experience by identifying with Harrison where he felt the best spot was for targeting crosses and eventually it was decisive.

Not sure you can judge somebody is good enough after 3 games. He's made a promising start don't get me wrong and yes he is proving a point that he may be able to cut it at this level and if he hits double figures for the season, then yes, that would be a good return. But he still unproven at this level at the moment, see what he does throughout the season.

Never in doubt... Christiono for Ballon do'r - when he collects it, he'll do the finger celebration to the camera..

and I'll love it

I think I said if we got promoted it would be despite the ownership and management team(excluding Bielsa and his coaches).

I'll eat some humble pie over that one.

Absolutely impossible for Bamford not to be affected by the ironic cheers, and jeers he faced week in week out. If he read social media then his head will have been an absolute mess last season. Should this affect his performances - no if he is a robot. Hes a human being. Of course it affected him. Could see it in his body language. Snatching at chances, passing rather than shooting was all evident.
Not surprised hes playing well with no crowd.
