To be honest mate, I don`t see Sissoko getting many starts now. With Ndombele starting to play 90 minutes, Lo Celso looking to cement another place in midfield, it will be hard for Sissoko to nail down a regular place, same goes for Winks.
We get the new striker deal sewn up with his medical and work permit, and we might even have a Brucie bonus for Sunday on the bench!
Big teams win this....
very big teams win it twice
Spot on with all comments. I wrote a post last night saying that I’m not sure we could have asked for much more from an insane first month. Credit to Jose for handling the squad well, sorting out Dele and NDombele and getting levy to splash some cash
We lost fair and square to Everton and the penalty vs Newcastle was a joke so should be 2 points better off
Sanchez still worries me..... his pace isn’t enough to offset his lack of composure on the ball and lack of defensive smarts and I’ll never have Aurier over Doherty but other than that I’m quite optimistic, especially if we can get a striker/CB before Monday
I still dont think Winks & Sissoko are anywhere close to top end of the Prem quality..... Winks simply is ineffective in a 4231 and sissoko is just flat out shlte..... Thankfully I don’t think Jose looks at either as his best starters
A point on Sunday would be a fantastic result..... not a happy hunting ground for us and United are the last team I would wanna play..... lots of pace in their team and we’ll understandably have a lot of tired legs after this month
Even if we lose Sunday I'm not gonna be bothered after this week.
Intto the qtr finals new striker, Bale back in training a lot to look forward to.
Well done Spurs, look forward to drawing you later.
Funny they were saying Kane is greedy and Calvin is'nt.

I'd love one of Celtic or Rangers in the group.
I think we will see a very similar tactical set up against Man U as we did against Chelsea. Everyone’s exhausted, so sit deep first half and safe energy for the second half. Problem is I’m not sure this will work against Utd
Morning Sandy,
With a bit to spare.
We've made big improvements over the last week.
United game is crucial. Feels pretty season defining. Go there and take three points and things look very positive with Bale and sonny back for the next game.
But put in another Everton display and all the good work is undone.

Agreed. It has been a terrific 10 days or so, but these are games we’d expect to win. The United game is the real test to see if we have progressed.
who did you filter Sandy?
Have to say it was quite funny - I was out during the game so only caught up when I got home, and as it was such a good result I thought I'd 'relive' the game by reading through the match thread on here...
You were being a right negative nelly! Seemed like you didn't enjoy one minute of it.

I was glad to find out it wasn’t me. I always feel like I’m on Sandy’s naughty list.
Though that list could probably fill a book.

You can hardly say a defeat at United is season defining, it is only the 4th Prem game of the season, there will be still 34 Prem games to play, and Bale, Son still to come back, plus any new signings. The good work will not be undone if Spurs lose a Prem game, they have already qualified for the Group Stages of Europa and into the QF of the Carabou cup, those two things will not change even with defeat at Old Trafford.

I am not saying mate, he knows who he is, and there was absolutely no need for him to post as an insult towards me, as I had not posted anything derogatory towards him. I will give him a couple of weeks off, to see if he can learn to behave. The thing is I quite like him as a poster, so not sure why he needs to posts insults.
