Thanks for posting REV, much appreciated.

I've posted this a few times recently, but let me state again that the manager will be here til Christmas at least. If EM was going to sack him he would have done it after the Stoke game. Also having let him bring in a new coaching team, and a whole new squad he would be barking to bring in a new manager who would want to do the same again. Even Fawaz wouldn't be that crazy.

Now the match: Keith Stroud is the ref. Brizzle P3 W3; Forest P3 L3. They have Dieddhiou a 6'4" striker. So it's not looking good is it? So why am I feeling confident? I don't know, I can't see any positives.

You're right REV he wont play 2 strikers, but I'm hoping that he asks Freeman to play just behind the striker in a 4-4-1-1 formation. No mass changes this week. Ioannou in for Blackett, Mighten for Sow, Grabban for Taylor.

The Outlaws snatched victory last night when all seemed lost; can Forest do something similar

I only see another loss I'm afraid, so bye bye Sabri.

Excuse time is over, this is now Sabri’s team, more or less the one he wanted, sure he still wants a winger, so let’s Albert leave, strange. I think we have a chance tomorrow, Brizzie will certainly be open so counter attacking will suit us, it’s merely a matter of making some of the opportunities count, we’ve had some gilt edged ones, so by the laws of averages we should finally put one away. What we must not do is concede early, or ideally at all, though a 6’4’ centre forward will bring its own problems. We need to control the game, not give Brizzie 60 percent or more possession and press them further up field. My prediction 1-1.

Strange one, I always, by default, feel hopeful just before any game we play, the feeling that if we just click, then we’ll get the result required....heart says 3 points tomorrow, heads says nailed on away win

I thought both CB against Huddersfield looked good and could form a decent partnership given time.

Also liked Arter - Colback - Freeman combination in midfield.

Lack of creativity and goal threat that hurt us, but maybe Bristol will be a bit more open than Hudds or Cardiff and this may help us!

This is me being positive

On the topic of sacking, we have seen managers sacked for far less! I mean what did Warburton and Karanka do wrong again??

But, as Red has already said the investment in the squad surely means you give some time for it to settle down. Also if you judge him on Pre-Covid then he had done okay, clearly results since have been awful but it may create some benefit of doubt for him. Always been a team at home in particular that feeds off the crowd, we have amazing support and I wouldn’t underestimate the impact losing that has had.

Bunk, that midfield trio is fine but Freeman has to be looking for space between their lines, and more central. The DMs need to win more second balls when they knock it long to Diedhiou (if that is their tactic)

Our fullbacks were awful against Hudders so hopefully that changes. Shame that Ribiero is on the way out as he was very good going forward. Haven’t been particularly impressed with Colback so far and not sure he’s captain material. I agree that both CBs looked promising so hopefully they can deal with Diedhou but City have much more than him with Paterson, Weismann and Wells all looking good. Would be very surprised if we won

Bristol City were poor in the first half against us last week but we didn't take our chances. They were a different side in the second half and look good this season. If you could score first then it should be a good game as they play quite open.

I’ll never call for sabri to be sacked but I’d put money on him already being gone. Like with MON, they’re just lining up his replacement.

He behaves like he’s already gone. He’s not shook the demons of last season and in fact is carrying on the form of last season despite having a better squad in my opinion. It isn’t ‘that’ we’ve lost the first three, it’s ‘how’ we’ve lost the first three. It’s a downwards trajectory with brief upward blips when poor teams permit us the play because they’re already ahead

I think the board, possibly the players, and a growing number of fans are starting to believe sabri won’t turn this around.

Saying that.
1-0 win to forest. Just cuz it’s forest.

I think I agree with what you say Monkey...especially the bit about it’s not the fact we’ve lost the first 3...in fact the first 4, counting Barnsley, but the manner in which we’ve lost them

posted on 3/10/20

Oh god, forgot Barnsley.

It’s been a miserable start and then some.

Afternoon all.

I see the ref is Keith Stroud. Hasn't he been involved with some ridiculous decisions against us in the past?

Last time was v WBA when he should have sent off Livermore for tackle on Ribeiro

Talk us that Derby are about to sign Charlie Austin

I would swap every signing we’ve made this season for that 1 player

Why, oh why have we missed that one???
