The county I'm in has now brought in new restrictions. I can't go to the neighbouring county where my parents and friends live but someone in England under restrictions can as their restrictions doesn't cover travel! It's a big mess and Wales would be much better off on its own.

Frustrating. I’m far from a lockdown denier (those maskless twots at those protests deserve to catch it) but I feel with what we know now it might be more prudent to isolate the vulnerable and provide financial assistance to make sure they don’t want for anything, mental health support got them and have everyone else who isn’t (hugely) at risk to keep wearing masks and social distance to an extent and keep things moving.

I read that only 5% of transmissions came from pubs so a bit poor to close them.

You may not be allowed into Belfast in two weeks! The infection rate in Belfast over the last 7 days is about 200 per 100,000 I think, which is way too high. I certainly wouldn't want to be sent here to work. I'm voluntarily locking myself down, aside from trips to the supermarket. Won't be setting foot in a pub for a while again

We've been put on a few countries high risk groups

I'd 2 trips to Germany booked for October but they've added us, Wales and the North East of England to their quarantine list... So that's that out

Students running parties all over Belfast and seemingly everyone is claiming exempt from masks due to health reasons... Shops aren't bothering to enforce limited numbers etc anymore
