I've only actually watched him play in midfield. He just seems to have a presence about him. Every highlight just seems to start with him winning the ball back and playing it out.

Obviously I am only making this judgement from limited viewing, so he could be nowhere near ready.

His supporters will love it though. Pro Trump and anti-vaxers have already used it as affirmation that Covid-19 is a hoax and they don't need to conform to requirements.

Trump knows he doesnt need the majority of people to like him. He just needs to be divisive to keep his base (or 'fans' as he has called them) on side. He probably only needs a quarter of eligible voters to turn out for him to win an election. The other 3 quarters and the rest of the world don't matter.

Spot on Tam. Quite clear from these last few days he is now doubling down on the virus not being a big deal and that is the final push to win voters and sadly there are a hell of a lot of morons that want life back to normal regardless of the consequences for those at risk.

Tonight is a VP debate and Pence is refusing to have the plexiglass up despite what has happened the last week and they are even openly mocking Harris for wanting it in place.

No doubt Trump has lost some support in recent days though and he has dropped further in the polls. His contempt for the virus and those that have suffered and died from it can only be a vote loser. His core base of white low educated people will stay with him, but that won’t be enough for him to win the election

The way to beat him isnt to go head to head with him either. He will just drag you into the gutter and turn voters off. The Democrats need to appeal to voters who wouldn't vote. Which is why Biden was a poor choice in that respect as he isn't someone who will inspire people.

Now they are just hoping that Trump does enough to encourage people to vote against him to get them out. Which he may be doing at the moment.

You would hope. From a standpoint of any intelligence he surely has no chance but I see it every day, he has a lot of support. The entire white evangelical faction for a start won't bend for a second, they don't care for a second that he is a despicable excuse for a human being.

I don’t think this election has much to do with voting for Biden, it’s primarily to do with voting against Trump. Biden is far from a great candidate and at his age is a pretty poor choice. But Trump has scored far too many own goals for that to matter.

The only thing that can change things now is if Biden scores own goals of his own in the remaining debates, which is possible. But as long as he just retains the voice of reason I can’t see him losing

If I was in the states no doubt I’d run for presidency and win a second term for sure, but I’m staying right here in Wolvertrampton to mange the threads. Got enough on my plate with getting the threads ready and whatnot

I think that is the problem though. The whole campaign seems to be played safe and is relying on people to vote against someone rather than vote for someone. The Deomcrats are hardly forcing a bigger voter turnout, so Trump will continue to work on the small number he needs to stay with him.

I think it has been clear for a while that the Biden campaign are 'allowing' Trump to hang himself while keeping their distance.

I don't see Trump winning more votes but I don't see him losing many either. The question will be whether people have been so repulsed by Trump that they actually get out there and vote, but given the nature of that kind of voter and the current environment I wouldn't bet on it.

Also the polls don't really mean much, Hillary won 3 million more votes last election but still lost. The polls currently suggest anything up to a 16% lead for Biden but I bet when it comes to it things will be pretty close.

I think this is a very different election to the one 4 years ago. Trump has created an America more divided than ever, and I think there will be much more motivation around to vote. I can’t see he will have gained many votes compared to 2016, but I’m sure he will have lost quite a few.

Biggest surprise to me is that there’s a small percentage who say they are undecided. How can anyone have possibly not made their mind up whether or not they want 4 more years of Trump

I think Biden beat Saunders because most Democrats don't want a far left candidate. I'm sure Biden will beat Trump, simply because Trump will have lost quite a lot of his supporters during this pandemic and I don't mean deaths.

Clinton, although she won the popular vote in 2016, lost the Electoral College vote, mostly the States in the North. This time around, I feel those essential States will go to Biden, plus Florida is up for grabs too.

All will be revealed in a month or so, so fingers crossed we get rid of this clown.
