The one responsible for running the club these last 7 or 8 years is the one most deserving of losing his
Unfortunately for everyone he is untouchable
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but he has bought in loads of money
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Big effing deal
One of the biggest clubs in the world is hardly a difficult sell
Even the worst of sugars apprentices couldnt fail to make money with the utd brand
And spent loads on some top, top players.
Yes but if they’re not players that the manager wants and don’t fit the system they are trying to implement then it’s not always productive, it’s the opposite in fact.
Doesn’t matter if he buys five players a manager wants. If he goes and buys two for big money that the manager is forced to play as well, then it’s never going to work.

But that hasn't happened at United
How many players has Ed bought that weren't wanted by the respective managers?
And also sometimes you have to take a punt on a player as he simply becomes available. That is how king Eric was born iirc.
We had this on my old job as well. We identified projects and had to bid for them. But often we saw money was available for something and even though not a priority we bid as it was improvement and helped
