Been waiting for this since the Stoke game just hope there’s enough in the kitty to replace old frenchies latest signings

Good appointment, very strange timing, why wait for the international window to close ?? Wonder how many Hughton will want to bring in ??

Think we’ve got enough options in the squad that Hughton will find what he needs!

Hope the kitty is zilch. We don't need more players.

Still think Sabri should have been given longer, but couldn't have asked for a better replacement. Hope the new manager gets the three windows he all new managers need; but with the players he has he should do OK.

I didn’t even have enough time to type my “they must be sacking him now as they finally have someone else lined up” line.

Hughtons probably the best manager we could realistically get in that doesn’t also have decent potential to self-destruct. I’m happy with this

So he’s got Newcastle and Brighton promotes but was less successful at Norwich. Not sure how his teams tend to set up?

I know we’ve been culprits of twitchy sackings in recent history but sabri was supported after a terrible post Christmas run, an end of season implosion, and even then he had the start of the season to showcase any lessons learned.

He really did have to go on a terrrrrible run for the board to hit the switch and was afforded a lot more time that we are known for.

We are getting good at this, took 20 minutes to announce Sabri’s appointment, only 11 mins for Hughton. Another couple and it could be seamless. 😁

Really surprised he would take the job but happy he has!

Disappointed with the statement as doesn’t give Sabri much credit. It was a best season for a longtime even if it went badly wrong at the end. I think he gave the city ground an atmosphere again and gave the city some hope. Didn’t work out for him but I think he needs to be remembered as doing a decent job for us. Cheers Sabri.

My moaning and frustration had no impact whatsoever on Sabri losing his position
