Everton. Things go in cycles and the 80's is having it's turn again.

Spurs should be taken seriously.

If Mourinho can work his old magic and Bale is 70% of the player he was before he left and can stay fit, they will be quite the team.

The fact that Liveprool and City look very beatable and will likely lose their fair share of games this year also means that around 85 points could win the league this season.

You say that but Liverpool could well win the next 10 and it’s back to last season again. Hard to predict.

Liverpool will walk it again I think.

Spurs are beginning to benefit from their hectic schedule, getting match fitness that others are struggling to find. The international break and the start of the CL/EL evens the field a bit. Plus they will hit a wall at some stage.

Everton were back playing Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Davies on Sunday. They made good signings, but I have doubts over whether James Rodriguez will last the distance, whether DCL will maintain good enough form. Plus they have Pickford in goal. No doubt Liverpool will beat them next time out.

Liverpool and City will soon hit their stride and it will be a different picture.

Depends really. Klopps Dortmund really declined after a few great seasons. Will lightning strike twice? There have been some signs.

It’s open to anyone really. I expect a season where the winners will only need 80-82 points.

I agree with a lot of that. Has any team in the EL ever mounted a serious title charge?

They did, but Bayern also raised the bar and they lost a number of their best players. That’s not the case for Liverpool this season. They’ve added to their squad with good signings after becoming champions.

This is very much a factor. Klopp has and will be backed far more than he was at Dortmund which will help but there will always be a level of complacency when a coach has been i charge a while. Training, team talks, ideas can start to lose the impact they once had.
Off the back of one game, I'm not worried especially after how well we played in our two previous.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I wouldn’t worry too much yet if I was you.

However i suggested after the Watford game last season that it could be a big result not in terms of where the title ended up last season but for the future and was ridiculed by some scousers.

Time will tell.

Liverpool or City if not, Arsenal

Fking Spurs are you joking? Their two best players are injury prone and they’ve made one quality signings plus two average ones, a crock has been and an unknown.

Mental his knee jerk people are, week or two ago there’s no chance you’d be saying this.

Probably not. It all depends on Liverpool and City

Hard to know ...

As a pool fan im not rabidly expecting us to win again but we are been written off after a freak result ....so see what happens ..

I.think the gunners or spurs might surprise a lot of people

Spurs have less than 0 chance of winning the league

Everton and even Arsenal have more chance

Liverpool easily. That was just a blip that will probably not happen again.

Liverpool by a mile. City will still be comfortably second, in all likelihood. I'm confident that United can recover from our disappointing start and finish in the top 10

Spurs reserves beat Chelsea first XI last week, so not sure why you think it is so ridiculous.
