Fifa 21- Is it worth purchasing?

I’m very similar to u, didn’t purchase 20 due to how bad 18 and 19 were. I play a possession based style and high press, and the game didn’t reward interceptions, tackling and quick passing. Gameplay was just awful. In fact most people I know have stopped buying it. Add to that scripting and how it’s buy to win.

The reviews are not very good so I’d keep your money

Pro Evo will always be the purest choice.
They said it’s just an update. £29. All good

I also didn’t buy FIFA20 because of how bad the previous versions were. Don’t think I’m gonna bother with FIFA21 either

I just play PES6 on the PS2 if I ever need a footy fix. FIFA been a complete joke last few years

If you want PES this year, but didn’t buy it last year do you need to fork out for last years game & the update? Or just the new updated £29 offering?

I bought 20 last year after not getting the 19. Was a horrible, scripted mess of a game. Steered well clear of this years.

Nope. £29 and you get the whole shebang.
What people liked was the honesty from Konami

Just buy pes 20 and 21 update, save you about a tenner. Download the kits and it's brilliant.

You dont need to buy 20. The 21 update is the full game. Its called an update as its just an update of the squads etc

Could buy pre owned pes20 for about a fiver though, and if they’ve genuinely not changed anything other than the kits and players etc, surely an update file saves you shelling out £29?

The game is a bit like last year. Run in a straight line with fast players and you’d get through on goal. Have to tackle your opponent 5 times to get the ball back. Still so many goals where the ball deflects of your defender straight to an opposition player.

A few differences to last FIFA: You score/concede every game from a corner. Crossing a ball actually works. GK are useless.
