............. and we are the team with the most games since a win in the league!

3 games? Surely Burton's is longer?

League as in our league Sir.

I reckon there's a punch up going on in No. 10 and Boris is going to resign

In that case, I'll happily take the point today
Would Jozwiak have made a difference?
On the basis of past performances, very likely.
Bommo didn't know what had hit them for the first 20 minutes, we then revert to type.
Te Wierik has a decent enough game today. Some of us would have been very keen for him to have had a stinker.
Lawrence is the most frustrating player for me Vidal.
Under the cosh, we get a good break, he bombs up field then pus in a crap pass behind his team mate, or worse still just plain gives it away.
......... he always seems to shoot straight at the defender too
I think he has played very well since he came back into the team. On one of the occasions you mention, Waghorn and Byrne simply left it to each other. Lawrence’s first instinct is to go forward which I like. He is braver than most in his desire to at least try to do something. When you do that then quite often it doesn’t come off and some fans will seize upon it, but better that than the safe pass back to the full back. Loz is OK for me.
We are a better team with him in it I don't dispute, but we could be so much better if his decision making was better?
I suppose that's why he's here and not playing in the Prem?
Has anyone checked the fridge in the No. 10 kitchen?
Waghorn’s decision making is far worse which is also why he is where he is as well. Thought he did alright in the main again except when he panicked and fluffed his pass to Lawrence.
We’ve been struggling and when that happens players get a bit anxious and make rushed decisions. We are starting to settle into the season a bit and if we get a win or two they’ll relax a bit more in those positions.

Wilfred is having a extended afternoon nap (or maybe Boris is)?
Knight has been fantastic but he does give the ball away from time to time. Shinnie looks after it a bit better and he was savvy enough to draw a foul a couple of times today. I wish we could get Sibley into the team but it’s hard to see how at the moment with the current formation. Could he play as one of the front three or would he be limited to cameos when we are chasing the game and revert to a back four?
Vidal doing the mature thing and trying to drag the discussion back to football
Without success it seems.
Evening all 👍🏼
Arrived in Scotland, I managed to listen to most of the game on the radio, sounded a good performance!
We really need to be getting ruthless in both boxes!
I don't think we reverted to type.
We weren't hanging on. Just individual errors that allowed Bournemouth their very few openings. We went from Bielsa, to Simeone to Mourinho in the space of 90 mins. I think we more than competed using all three styles and could have scored playing all three of them. It also takes quite a skillful coach to get that out of a team. Most can only play one way.
If we can start strong and work out an attacking plan B maybe 4-3-3 that we can switch to in the games when we do concede/don't get the opening goal I think we're well set.
Cocu today, had substitutes in hand over Bournemouth who'd played all their cards on getting the goal back. Had we been at home I wonder if he'd have been more adventurous with subs.
Ideally I think I'd like to see us play with only four at the back but there is that "Mike Brearley" affect that Curtis Davies has on the team. Even if there are better players I'm not sure there are better organiser's.
Cocu said before TL's off the ball game is very impressive, I think we'll see him start ahead of Joz. Or Rooney for Waghorn but Rooney can't press as quickly and match Waggy's running.
Bielik maybe for Curtis Davies or the Wisdom/TW position. Rooney or Bielik could take Knight's place but I think Shinnie and Knight have been steadily improving each game so wouldn't want to interrupt that progression.
Like your analysis Wellies. Just a little bit more care and precision and we could have done a proper smash and grab.
Hard to fault the back six at the moment. Maybe Buchanan got drawn into the middle for their goal but he is progressing really well. I thought Holmes was guilty of showing their player the way forward on the left flank when he should have got goal side a few seconds earlier. 19 times out of 20 Buchanan’s shot goes in off their defender. Then it looks like a great all-round performance.
