I think if we can maintain this standard, the wins will come, then the confidence, then the luck. I feel like Cocu has sacrificed some of his principles too and listened to his players, which I respect. Even though I think I'm probably more in the Cocu camp for playing out of the back.

Bloody hell, you lot are blaming Holmes when he was the only Derby player in that part of the pitch surrounded by Bournemouth players. He was looking to intercept the back pass to make a scoring chance. Whatever happened Bournemouth were going to get past him. Had he gone to our goal side Bournemouth would just have passed back and then forward again to be in the same position to attack. Blame the lack of support he had from other players. Shouldn't Knight or Shinnie or the person playing wing back on that side have made themselves available. You can't expect one player to stop three when they are near the half way line.

As he ran across I was shouting at the screen for him to get goal side. If he did that then the player would have been forced to pass it back to the centre half. It’s less dangerous than letting him run unchallenged down the left wing. With ten minutes to go it would have been the more sensible choice. Rather like Buxton’s decision to try to spray it wide with a couple of minutes to go at Wembley, it contributed to a goal being conceded, though like yesterday it wasn’t the only factor.
