But he’s not really representative of anything (apart from maybe inceeest).

The Bruno stuff doesn’t make sense, his poor form has largely been ignored/excused.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I suppose it's all in how you present your argument.

I would choose, for example, to say our style and lack of movement etc doesn't suit players of Bruno's I'll and their skill set. (Include mata in that and even pogba to a degree)

Someone else might say another skillful player being ruined

One is more aggressive and in your face and "final" but arguably both are saying the same thing

Means and styles I guess

The term supporter is a very loose one, there's not much support on here these days
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't get this argument tbh

Surely as a supporter you want the best for your club?

Yeah some folk go ott (I can name a couple but won't) but generally the discussions have been decent and we all want best for our club, even if that best is saying the manager is not the person to take us forward
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah there's nothing wrong with people having different opinions on who the manager should be or what players should stay/go etc...

That's not really what I'm talking about.

There's a lot of reactionary posts on these boards though.

I presume you’re talking about Nohlman. He’s just continually crying, screaming, stamping his feet and talking complete nonsense, Jinja. I don’t think many take him seriously, nor should they he’s a parody.

I’ve not see any other criticism of Bruno, apart from you. Everyone has swept it under the carpet. People were complaining he was subbed at the weekend. Well he was the worst player on the pitch.

Fair enough

Tbh my experience on here is that sort from match day threads where it's understandable to a degree imo, people generally have been decent enough.

There are the reactionary posters, but there is only a handful. But they get the focus.

Of I can use robb as an example here (sorry robb). I don't mind robb at all and his threads usually get a lot of responses. So he gets a lot of attention with regards to his views and when things turn out different to what he has said. But he is 1 guy albeit with a lot of content. And I'm sure he does some of the threads to get that reaction that he gets time and time again

*Robb not having a go or criticising you here pal

Very silly to suggest Bruno has been poor. His job is to create.

He’s created more than anyone in the premier league.

No mate I was making a general comment. I think there are 1 or 2 who just go ballistic. There's a couple I don't take seriously tbh

As for Bruno I don't hate or slate him, not imo anyway, I just say what I think I see. We have had disagreements in the past and I argue my case but I don't dismiss yours. How it should be imo

Forums are places to vent too so I don't take it to heart if I see someone having a go either. You can usually tell the ones who are venting from those who are just negative all the time

Everyone has poor games.

But if you look at the season, his job is to create, he’s done that better than anyone (other than KdB possibly). Never mind his work rate, leadership etc. So it would be nonsense to say he has been poor.

2 things

Firstly as daz said above I called Bruno being poor in last game because I felt he was. There was nothing more to it than that. It just seem to go ignored

Secondly I think it's clear to see his initial impact and this season are different. It's been not as good this season so far. And as I said earlier depends how you look at things.

Oh yeah and stats to.me don't show the whole picture. A pass to rashford deep in our half where rashford runs 3/4 of the pitch and scores is counted as an assist. Whereas a player making a run taking on 3 players and passing to a.n other who then makes a simple pass to the scorer gets nada

Jinja, I’m not dismissing your view on Bruno. I fully agree. I was saying you’re the only one I’ve seen give fair criticism. Nohlman seems to be Matth’s reference.

Yeah that post was a bit of a mess and unclear now I read back. Was trying to cram too many things in

I realise you agreed and were not dismissing my view

Ozil's job was to create goals, which he was (on paper) one of the best in the world at doing, but football has evolved, and you have to offer more eg workrate, leadership etc as a CAM/CM these days imo.

Yea nothing wrong with saying a player is poor in a game. Just silly to suggest Fernandes has been poor this season.

That’s a lot of waffle about assists, I was on about key chances created.

Not sure if your waffle is about a particular assist, from what I can recall two recent ones were Fernandes assist against Leipzig was a fantastic first time pass, again another great pass for Newcastle goal.

In my opinion Bruno definitely offers both of those. Bruno is the closest thing to a captain United have.

Every player has better and worse runs of form. There's no harm in pointing that out. Going completely overboard in your criticism after a few bad games is a different story, but that's generally a minority and it's wrong to bundle anyone making a critical comment in with the drama queens.
