A guy under massive pressure. A team that plays on Thursday in Europe has to play on Sunday, So what different does weds/Saturday make.
Nice to see him coming out swinging
Under huge pressure though

Well in the case of Thursday-Sunday you rarely have the option to move it back any later.
In this case you do. No good reason we couldn't have played Sunday - They are just so rigid with their TV scheduling that it won't happen.
Its a fair point he's raised.

It's all about scheduling and the fact there are multiple tv companies with the rights to matches. Liverpool and City both played on Tuesday but BT have the rights to the early Sat game, so there was no option to switch

Yeah I noticed this.
However it’s more to do with TV schedulers demanding City-Liverpool on the main prime time.
He didn’t really seem very coherent in his complaints. Unsure if it’s because he was so angry or he just isn’t a great talker.

Teams playing in Europe on a Tuesday should play Saturday, Wed a Sunday.
Teams usually rest players for Europa as the competition isn’t very tough in the group stage.
he has got a bit of a point, even with the early kick off on wednesday a flight back from turkey means everyone getting home at 2am, c. 58 hours before they have to play an away match.
whether that merits a rant, or OGS should just suck it up because that's how the TV companies work, is up to you.
You could just see all the stress inside him coming out he was shaking at times, the mental pressure much be tremendous on him over his job and especially after that first goal on Wednesday
It's pure distraction in an attempt to move the narrative away from Ole possibly being sacked.
Pretty standard stuff.
The PL is pretty daft... Everything they do seems to be to put teams playing in Europe at the greatest disadvantage.
Other leagues give their teams the best chance to prosper in Europe. Whether it's 5 subs, better scheduling or mid season breaks. That's why we'll always be one step behind...

The problem is, it's even more difficult to reschedule now, as every single match is kicking off at a different time. So it's not as if the game could be moved to a Friday evening or Sunday evening slot

True... But this is not a new phenomenon... It's how the PL has always done these things... They just can't see beyond their product.
How often have Bayern been scheduled to play on a Friday to give extra time to prep for a big Euro game.
We on the other hand have teams play in the EL on Thursday and lunch time Saturday to get things on tv (happened to spurs once and they had to play chelsea).
The issue isn't just the PL. The FA and general English mentality when it comes to these sort of things are behind. It's why we're always playing catch up to the rest of Europe and get humiliated by the likes of Iceland in an international tournament.
For me it sounded exactly like something SAF would say.
Complains about other stuff to take the pressure off the players/himself/whatever.
Probably spoke to SAF before hand to be honest
Hmmm... has the Assassin finally arrived?....
His players going to ground at every opportunity. 💨💨💨
His players clearly trying to win an Oscar
Well, he’s got a point hasn’t he?
It’s not exclusive to Man Utd and I don’t think anyone would suggest it is.
Moaning for the sake of moaning.
