Probably called up by his national side
Tonight’s game at Doncaster is available to watch via the Doncaster website for £10
Ruddy
Buur, Marques, Richards
Hoever, Cundle, Perry, Shabani, Marcal
Corbeanu, Silva
The winners of the game may qualify for the knockout stages. But if Bradford win at home to Oldham then neither team will go through
Football Association chairman Greg Clarke has resigned over "unacceptable" language to describe black players.
I've looked through what he said to the Select Committee, and I'm struggling to see what he said that was wrong. He was talking about the racist abuse of players and used the term "coloured footballers".
He pointed out that he had been encouraged to refer to "people of colour" which I think is a ridiculous phrase but, never-the-less, seems to be the accepted term.
Unless I've missed something his langauge was described as abhorrent because he referred to "coloured people" instead of "people of colour".
Sorry this is off topic but such political correctness is crazy.
Please educate me.
Agree with you wulfrun. Political correctness gone mad
U21s ahead through good shot from a narrow angle by Fabio Silva

Yep, ridiculous. White folks have got to be offended about something.
Wolves win it with an 88th minute winner. Second of the game for Fabio Silva who won a 50:50 ball midway in the Rovers half took it forwards 20 yards and slotted past the keeper.
Calling black people 'coloured' hasnt been acceptable for a long time. When you combine that with saying gay people are making a life choice and female footballers dont like the ball to be hit hard; it's not difficult to see why he resigned.
Hardly the image a national sporting body wants from its chairman.

People haven't used the term "coloured" since the days of Bernard Manning, and his "humour". Given that the guy has previous when it comes to such indiscretions, it's quite right that he's stepped down.

Highlights from the game today against Donny. Silva will be a lot happier after that one, scored two and could have had a couple more in the highlights.
Silva looks good in those highlights.
As if its call the Papa John's Trophy now though.
My point was that "coloured people" is unnacceptable - fair enough, but that "people of colour" is the politically correct usage - madness.
People of colour is what is used in the US, not here. He says he got confused because of his time in the US, but still used the wrong term. Using the termed 'coloured' is offensive as it is the term that was used during segregation to differentiate those who had lesser rights than white people. It is therefore still deemed to have negative connotations.
It also isnt just this that has led him to having to resign. As well as the above mentioned incidences (saying being gay is a lifestyle choice and female footballers dont like the ball being kicked hard), he has also said that Asian people would rather work in IT than be professional footballers. The guy is an outdated dinosaur and his views are not befitting a modern chairman of an inclusive national organisation.
If it was just the one slip of using the word 'coloured', I'm sure he would have got away with an apology for the slip of the tongue. His other slip ups are indicative of someone who has no interest in keeping up with modern standards though.
So basically he has potentially upset black people, Asian people, women and the LGBT community. A great look for an FA chairman.
Picked a great time to come down to Florida and Tampa in particular. Right in the path of the Hurricane right now and being hit with a deluge . Luckily it's only a small one.

Been in two category 4 hurricanes when in Florida. The power going out is the most annoying thing.
Trying to think of a pun about the hurricane starting with Brees sweeping Brady and Tampa. All the pieces are there. Put it together for me.
The only thing I know about hurricanes is that they are like wives.
They breeze into your life but when they've gone, they've taken your feckin' house away!!
Neto getting a first cap v Andorra, a few goals may help his confidence.
He scored after 8 minutes.

Haha, don't I know it !!
Moutinho and Semedo have started four Portugal too. Looks like a second string but should be goals galore against Andorra.
Semedo with an assist for the second.
Proves Wolves will be ok against Andorra in the European super league
Just seen the video of the Neto goal. Fabulous finish
