Sandy do you still see Spurs at the summit after your next 6 games? If so what makes you so confident?

Burnley, Brighton and WBA, despite Spurs not being at their absolute best, their three star players Kane, Son and Bale have all come up with late winners.

never looked at it like that. that quality often makes the difference in those tight games

Worried about Kane and Son this international break.

Kane was managed quite well during the last one, think he only started one game.

Anything he happens to either two and it’s an uphill battle for our next 5 games.

Excellent point , those 2 go down and spurs season ends right there 👍

can say that again, theres not playing well up to expectation etc and theres being outplayed. Spurs were outplayed by brighton and WBA imo.

Well of course they are, but I wouldn't necessarily say the season ends with any injury to either of them.

So Spurs had more shots both on and off target against both teams, and they were outplayed.

Spurs have probably only been outplayed by Everton this season, when they were caught cold first game of the season.

Well you could say the same if Salah and Mane get injured, or for that matter any other team lose their two best players.

It won`t mate. Funny how Spurs season will end if they lose their best players, but Liverpool`s wouldn`t if they lost Salah and Mane.

They'd ofcourse be fecked if they had mass injuries but i think they have the depth to ride out a 2/3 injuries aslong as one of them isn't Alisson. They are hardly struggling without VVD, Fabinho and Thiago are they?

The only other team i feel have similar quality depth to get away with it are Chelsea (providing it's not Mendy or Silva who go down).

Spurs have a much deeper squad than Liverpool. They are not having to bring on 34 year olds, when one of their players gets injured. Even last year with both Son and Kane missing they still finished 5th.

This year they are comfortably competing in three different competitions with the FA Cup still to come. Liverpool couldn`t even compete in the League Cup with their squad.

Winning is winning at the end of the day. Winning an ugly borefest or a priceless snatch and grab is the sign of a top side. Not every team can be put to the sword with beautiful football. Mourinho will drum that into them.

Yeah but look at the opposition! They should be winning these games easily not relying on last minute goals.

Lose Kane to injury and you will wobble big time.

Such a deep squad yet you couldn't even field a strong enough team to avoid defeat against a mediocre Antwerp in the EL.

You may ask why I said mediocre, quite simple really, they weren't good enough to qualify for the CL.

Oh and as far as Milner is concerned, he's probably the most versatile player in the league. He has played in RB, LB, CDM, CM, AM, LW & RW roles during his career. Most of spurs back line can't even play properly in their preferred roles
