If we can get through to Jan still in contention for the league then we will be ok as i am now certain we will buy another CB in Jan

Given the latest setback with joe if we win anything this year it will be extraordinary

Why ? If Gomez is out for some months then we will be playing the bulk of the season with 1 senior CB . Not sure that would make things too easy

You’ll be basically missing one position. And then you have Fabinho to drop in. Liverpool are a sum of their parts rather than individuals even if the individuals are class. You should still outscore most teams.

well firstly you all keep saying how great fabinho is at CB.
secondly it is no one's fault but your own that you went into this season with only 3 senior CBs.
thirdly we as yet have no idea whether gomez is even injured at all, let alone for how long.
fourthly you have about 8 PL games before the january window opens.
and, finally, other clubs get injuries too - i guarantee for instance that you'll be missing fewer players for the leicester match than they will; you played chelsea when they were missing half their first team.

i could go on, but i'd bore even myself.

But can’t expect Matip to play every match til Jan can we

Your attack is too good and consistent.

No other team has an attack that consistent.

They will just outscore teams. play on the break and rip them apart. I think you will win because no other team is good enough

This is the time when the team will need the fans..

We continue on.. hopefully the injured players (bar VVD) have a decent recuperation period and are well placed second half of the season.

Big blow for us, need Phillips and Williams to step up big time now, they’ve both done well so far.

Must buy a centre back in January as well, would like to see us break the bank for Upamecano, even if that means no signings in the summer. Schuurs would be a good option too.

Klopp will play 4-2-4 been moderately successful with it, hopefully will become more attuned to playing it.

Could see a few players out of position to cover , at least we should have some versatile midfielders who can help out - fab , Millie , Gino and hendo . Thiago back will help as well .

So far it’s been:

Liverpool are lucky with injuries, just wait until you have several players out, you’ll be screwed.

Cue injury ‘crisis’ and such beauties as it’s only one position are being trotted out.

Oppo fans on here are very predictable.....

So far we’ve lost Allison , Virgil Matip Gomez Trent , keita , Henderson , Thiago , ox
And I’ve prob missed a few - all of them key members of the first team .

I still fancy us to win it too.
