I think this is just cutting the wage bill where we can afford to cut it.
Good move
One down....
It's not like the position has been dissolved though. Someone's stepping into his place. Instead of a part-time transfer hurdle, we now have a full-time one!
Are you sure he was not sacked because of his recommendation of manager Steve Mac?

Strettea ... Disbanded! chief!
No1. He was not on the wage bill.
No2. He hasn't been on the AP for over a year (no-one has, because it was dispanded)
___________
I'm glad we've got you to tell us the truth Stret. Them papers keep lying. I'm sure they all got a vendetta against ND.
where has the rumour of 'he doent take a wage' started? is it just fans guessing or did the club state that at some stage.
I think he must have been taking a wage for us to call in a 'part time role'. And why would'nt he have taken a wage.

He didn't take a wage. Listen to Stret.
If you want to sort the fact from the lies always listen to Stret.
If he's not around what you do is, wait and see what people, potential targets, current players, managers, journalists are saying, then assume the opposite of what they say is true.
They're all liars. They're consumed with a pathological hatred for our board (for some reason) and will not stop until they've driven them from the club they care so much about (for some reason)
Never known a consultant not to get paid. Perhaps not salaried but there is no way he was giving us charity.
I would rather have our Chief Scout in position there anyway.
I just looked back at who it was who that told me a while ago that he wasn’t taking a wage. Guess who....Strett!!!
So there is only one person who thinks he wasn’t taking a wage. He must be right though as everyone else is definitely wrong!!
Anyway, he's gone now

Clutching straws Strettea me owd, I wouldn't charge my best mate £120 never mind £120k for anything
Not always, but most of the bull you come out with is incorrect
_______________
Coming from you that's saying something.
What about "we were the biggest spenders in the league during Billys time at the club" as just one example of stuff you've made up to suit your point.
You pick and chose which version of events you want to beileve based on what fits your argument.
120k to annoy our managers seems a lot. Now I wait for a list of the good things pleat did, no doubt he had a hand in signing all our good player, but not the flops. They were Billys fault, no doubt.
'Not on the wage' and 'last year he received about £120k'.
OK strett, so that wasnt in 'wages', but in the context we are talking about, its the same thing. He was taking money from the club.
I'd still be amazed if he wasnt on the wage bill. Consantants would invoice for the amount of time they have spend working. How do you evaluate his 'time spent workinf for forest'. Everygame he comentates he is doing research for us?

Pleat got us Majewski, Gunter and Cohen.
___________
Thought he might have.
Strett, I think you are taking the role of 'consaltant' a bit too literally. I reckon he was on the wage bill.
anyway he's taking money from the club....
where did you get 120K from??? wet finger in the air??
None of us know the goings on a forest, so why pretend to know?

if pleat being at the club was causing friction, which it obviously was. It's better he's gone.
Being successful at this level is hard enough, without everyone being at each others thoats all the time.
Keep it simple, have faith in the manager you employ at great expence and let him do his job. Give him as much help and support as you can and get on with it.
