Have they scored too early
Yes it's better to score in the 90th minute but a goal is a goal

five minutes before kick off would be too early
When fans bring up a completely anomalous exception to what we would normally expect and try to apply that logic to any other situation.
Probably explained better if I give an example:
‘Look at Kane, we should give this crap striker a fair chance’
‘look at Salah, we shouldn’t sell this crap player just in case’
The next team to score will win this.
He has a good engine on him.
Not so much a saying, but one gross oversimplification is the idea a team is either a possession OR counter attacking team, they press OR they sit back, etc...no team has ever been exclusively one or the other.
Mourinho on the Coaches Voice summed it up well. The game is split into four phases, with & without the ball & the transition between both those points, and a great team has to be exceptional in all aspects in all four phases or they'll achieve nothing.
Celtic are good in Europe.
Sorry bhoys.

Or talk of how Drogba was a nobody til he turned 24.
That doesn’t mean any striker under the age of 24 should be deemed good enough in case they become the next Drogba.
