Fully on board atm Don.

I thought he was finished at this level after his United spell, but this season we have been excellent.

However, if we are playing this way the results will have to keep coming. It is a tough watch, but as long as it's effective I have no issues

Mate, I just want some silverware. I am so sick of being nearly men. If Jose does it his way and brings some glory to this club, I don’t care how he does it.

People need to realise that United is a curse on players and managers these days.

Spurs was perfect for Jose. Some very good players and a fan base desperate for trophies. Great stadium and he had a year off from football and came back hungry and away from all the insane and unrealistic pressure at United and away from Ed Woodward and the Pogba situation.

Things looking good now but we need to see how we do at the end of the season. If we don't win anything then Mourinho has failed and he will have especially failed given the squad we have and the other big teams struggling with injuries and form. Then we have the possibility of losing players and Mourinho entering into his third season, which usually doesn't end so well.

The proof in the pudding will absolutely be in winning something. Being top and looking good in November does not matter greatly.

No, but we are going in the right direction. A lot of you, including you Spurtle were throwing in the towel and saying Jose isn’t right for Spurs only last season, where I told you lot, give it until next season. As predicted, Jose is creating something at the club.

This isn’t really Jose’s second season though. It’s his first full season. I think he’ll get guy a trophy and a title push but I wouldn’t have thought he would be at the point of imploding as soon as next season. He seems relaxed.

He does Robb. Reminds me of old Jose at Inter don’t it ?

Question is, if you don’t win something this season what happens thereafter?

Yeah, the break did him good and he has in Kane and Son two cheat code players who seem to love him. And I was the first to slate Ndombele but the tough love worked with him in the way it didn’t with Pogba.

Don, that is true although a lot of that was just usual overreaction stuff when your emotions are raw after a poor result. We all do it. At heart I always felt he should get enough time to do a job, as with any manager. I wasn't keen on him joining Spurs but I've warmed to him and even made a positive article about him at the end of last season.

There are still a few things that could be better such as in game management, but overall he's doing a good job and we can only hope this will lead to a trophy or more.

That’s a good question and I think we have to win something this season. Nobody is expecting us to win the league, but certainly a league cup this season or Fa cup at least, then next season we push on for bigger trophies. If Jose wins us the Europa, then that is unbelievable and will prove he truly is still one of the best around.

I agree that this is actual full first season

He was asked to stabilise the sinking ship last season.
Any fool who takes Jose on must be deluded AF! Read his background story and how with Porto he won the CL and you realise the guy deserves respect

Spurs looking good Don mate, hope all is well

I’d say this is Spurs best chance in years to win something. All competitions entered are winnable.

Feels like a case of now or never.

It is a good question and it is a question every club must assess at the end of each. Though United seem to operate differently!

We will see how well this team come close and how well we do. CL is needed so that's a must for the running of the club.
A trophy is also needed because fans and Levy crave winning it.

In an ideal world we’d have Pochettino as he’s perfect for us right now and you guys have Jose who is perfect for you right now.

50% of that is in place.

So Jose has to win something, but Poch didn`t have to. Got you. I am sure Jose will win trophies, but I didn`t see the same demands put on Poch after just one season, in fact I didn`t see any demands put on Poch after five seasons.

If Mourinho has failed after say one full season if he doesn`t win a trophy, then surely you would place Poch in the same bracket as a failure, would you not.

A lot of these players need a bit of a rest, especially after playing international friendlies... look what’s happened to Toby!!

But can we rely on squad players to do a job, at home to Ludogrets?!!

Look what happened against Royal Antwerp!!

No way should Kane play though.. he definitely needs a rest..as does Eric Dier...

Must be a difficult situation at the moment for United fans Robb.

Balance between supporting the team you love but knowing that every victory you scrape prolongs the sacking of a manager that everyone knows won’t ever have you challenging for the major trophies.
