to me was just one of those leeds days when things just wouldnt go our way. Another day we would have scored 3 and on yet another day against 10 men we would have lost
Sums it up when the best chance of the game fell to arsenal at the end and had it not been for smart keeping we would be spitting feathers on here
We just don’t have the players who can beat a man for pace and open up opportunities be it against 11 or 10.
Any side sitting deep we struggle against and that was evident in the championship.
Killers passes through 9 players are hard to play. Just got to shift the ball around quickly and get the wingers on the ball with space. We never did that.
Not sure you can be too critical when we’ve hit the woodwork three times... maybe a different story on another day.
My main issue today was Koch - poorest I’ve seen him

like I said "Feels a bit unfair to say after hitting woodwork three times, but we could have played for 3 hours and not scored."
Ayling should have scored to be fair.
Just one of those days, but all things considered after the last couple of games a major bonus is the clean sheet.
Have to start with rodrigo next time out, he needs a run of games
Thought their MOTM was their keeper which sums up the game for me. However I do think our style of play changes when we play against ten men, did last year and again this, we seem to slow done and lose our edge. Need to work on trying to play the same.
Agree. Rodrigo, based on several games evidence now, has to be the first name on the team sheet. He's a class above. In everything he does. Class player.
Overall, I'm happy with the result (yes we should've/could've won). But, after a couple weeks off and players coming back from injury, I'm happy.
Really hope Llorente's back soon. If he's half the player I hope he is, he could make a big difference.

Their MOM was the woodwork.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The chances we missed by and large, would have been buried by our opposition. Truth is we have championship instincts in the box.
Rodrigo and Raph are very attacking and a real tonic, but Harrison and Bamford seem to be threats in periods as opposed to constant, which is what elite sport is about.
January needs to come quick.
Enjoyed the game but despite Arsenal Only having 10 men and us hitting the woodwork 3 times I always felt we could lose so not too bad a result in the end and with Philips Raphino and Rodrigo we look a lot better than we did against Leicester and Palace so all in all there is definitely cause for optimism.
Positives
Meslier continues to be good
Clean sheet
Phillips / Rodrigo back
Best game in prem for alioski
Var worked
Negatives
Couldn’t score
Vulnerable to pace. Opposition players glide past ours too frequently
Alioski lying on ground after I minor looking headbutt
David O’Leary sat in the crowd with 0000s of Leeds fans some with money locked in the club can’t go.
Good to see Philips back for us today. Hes so (too) important for us.
I have to say I didn't really mind Alioski going down. He was definitely head butted and if he doesn't go down it doesn't go to VAR. Pepe was rightly sent off.
Oh another negative
Sky
Leeds arsenal and we have
Patrice Evra and llumgberg
Evra clearly didn’t even know any of the Leeds players names referring to them as “the goalkeeper” , “the fullback” .
This is a man who kicked his own fans in the head in France and dances with dead chickens online .
His is a man who resigned on Sky the other week because his team were losing yet he’s still here.
Sky tv is foo. King sh111t
If you can’t see that Raphinha is10 times the player of Costa, I despair.
We were excellent today overall, made chance after chance, great saves, shots too high or just wide , hit woodwork x3.
As I said practically after every game where we dominated last season but did not win, we will do fine if we keep up that style. And that was in the face of the same moaning minnies on here
Can’t believe the stupidity of some comments. Our style of play means we will be open in defence. Accept it and enjoy - we won’t have Bielsa for too long and then you can ejaculate in the joy of the next Warnock or Monk
I’ll relax and enjoy what we do, how we play, and the opportunities we make and sometimes take.
I'm just happy we didn't get tonked 4-1 again.
Yes, it feels like we dropped two points here, and I am a bit disappointed, but Meslier stood up well in the second half, Cooper largely dealt very well with Auboomerang, and we didn't get overrun in midfield in the first half. All good.
We were in fact very unlucky not to stick three or four past them tonight - we're constantly creating some really good chances. Off the back of two 4-1 defeats and the disruption of an international break, I've got to be happy with that performance.
And yes, agree that Raphinha didn't show a great deal but Rodrigo looks really sharp. Thought he was brought on too late.
Everton and then Chelsea. Those will be tougher examinations.
Yeah thought Rodrigo looked good too, and like you, wished he’d had more game time.
It's still early days for Raph. Harrison and Costa both took time to make any impact.
I think we need a new pitch tho.
And well done Alioski today. Class footballing performance, and WUMing.
What was Tierney's problem at the end?

Yes because we are a newly promoted side playing against a team that is more experienced and have some top international players that despite being down to 10 men defended well and looked dangerous on the break.
Considering we have leaked 8 goals in the last couple of matches we held our own and with a little more composure could have won against Arsenal who are still a top Premier league side despite their mid table position.
With Philips and Rodrigo and Raphino I think we will finish between 11th and 14th which I think is good and is why I think there is cause for optimism.
I agree with you on where we’ll finish - just your reasoning I wasn’t sure about. If we can show some composure in front of goal we’ll do ok. Anyone know what our Xg was?
Disagree on Alioski. Rolling around clutching his head like he did was embarrassing and shameful. Feigning injury to get an opposition player sent off is the worst sort of cheating in my book. He's too good a player to be doing that - I hope Bielsa has a word.
Can't say I disagree with too much ref the game, just feels very negative.
Hitting the post, and the bar twice, with thier keeper making two or three very good saves, strikes me as just one those games.
we'd do well to remember we are still making that transition from playing championship football to the worlds elite.
Philips coming back made us much more solid however I am still not sure about our defence. Arsenal really offered zero threat so a clean sheet whilst welcome should not be seen as a great achievement.
As stated by others on here, the inability to take good chances is a real worry. Others need to step up and not expect Bamford to score all our goals.
