What are you talking bout, he broke into Leicester’s team in 2018 when he was 21, he played for Coventry in 2016!. Maddison was levels above Willock at the same age.

He was born in 1996.

Maddison is 24 and had 2 years in the PL.
Joe has just turned 21. He has 3 years on Maddison.

Maybe he was at Norwich making 3 appearances and on loan at Aberdeen at the same age as Joe is now.

Is joe on the same level as Maddison when Maddison was 21?

Send him to Aberdeen and lets see.

We do seem to have a problem with developing young players for a while. Quite a few cases of players who either start well and then regress, and or players who we release for barely any money then go on to do much better elsewhere. Maybe this is similar if you compare it with lots of other clubs, we’ve also been bit unlucky with injuries in some cases. But since fabregas who’s made a significant impact, probably only bellerin at a push

Maddison broke into Leicesters team when he was 21 and was instantly recognised as a top young player. He’s levels above Willock technically when he was 21.

He was 10 months older than Willock is now when he made his PL debut

I think Maddison was about 22 when he last had a decent game as well.

Answer the question, does Joe have the technical capabilities that Maddison has? Is his touch, vision, movement and finishing on the level of Maddisons?

He hasn't had chance to prove it yet. Come back when he is 24.

posted on 23/11/20

Lol ok. He’s nowhere near Maddison’s technical level but keep believing that. Night

Of course, Powerking was another saying Saka wasn't good enough. You have to love our fanbase and their hate for our players before they even have a chance

DJ
You do know someone being "young" doesn't equals them having the potential to become a good player?

I'll concede and give you Saka. He's doing better than I expected and has improved leaps and bounds. He has potential. Even though I don't like his playing style.

Willock, though, is in the same boat as Nketiah, bang average players with no outstanding qualities. Surely you can't deny this.

I’m not saying that Willock is the needed quality or ever will be but this article really is pathetic.

As if Willock is going to come in and suddenly transform us into an attacking juggernaut. The team as a whole has no confidence nor have we any attacking cohesion whatsoever.

Not coincidentally, the Ivorian Bebe has played in nearly all those games and has been god awful yet the OP constantly defends him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You serious? So you make excuses for Willock, claiming that it's down to the poor attacking cohesion, but at the same time mock Pepe?

I'm realistic in regards with Pepe. He hasn't been up to par. That's clear. But he has ability. Unlike Willock who can't control a simple pass or dribble.
