Greenwood needs to start getting his head up a bit more and look for his teammates. He did well to set up James but it's an area of his game that needs improving.

If it was Rashford or Martial cutting inside from the left although they do tend to shoot quite a lot as well they do look to pick a teammate out more often than Greenwood does.

If he links the attack nicely and we score 4 goals a game yeah. If he doesn’t contribute to anything, plays poorly and also doesn’t score, then no.

Not really an easy question to answer unless it happens.

Obviously we want him to score goals; I just think it’s pointless sticking an arbitrary figure of 20 on him. If he plays well, keeps defences busy and helps others score in winning performances, I don’t mind if his own goal return is leaner than 20.

What is frustrating, is the loss in Turkey. If United had won away at Basaksehir, we would have wrapped up qualification already.

United are certain to qualify from one of the toughest groups in this season’s competition if they can just beat Istanbul home and away in the next two games and it would be fully in their character to come away from the two fixtures with two points, but they really should win.

I also heard after we beat Leipzig that we just needed 2 wins against Istanbul to qualify but now we bottled it, we just need a draw. I think PSG will be scared of us.

So we probably only need 1 point from the next 2 games?

No 1 point is guaranteed to see us qualify.

Had we beaten IB twice we still wouldn't be through mathematically as two very heavy defeats against RB and PSG could have seen us go out.

Yeah but PSG are rubbish and as are Leipzig. We are also finding form in creating a lot of chances. PSG were lucky to beat Istanbul as they created twice as many chances against PSG then they did vs us. They just kept missing.

I won’t be surprised if Istanbul beat both these sides. They seemed to be the best side we faced.

If all three teams finished on 12 points then the positions would have been decided by results between the three teams on 12 points. It would be highly unlikely that United would have gone out on 12 points (thanks to the 5-0 v RB) but possible.

Hopefully by the time we play PSG IB will have done us a favour in the early kick off.

Even if Leipzig draw with Istanbul - if we lose at home to PSG (which is very possible now PSG have all their players back) it will come down to a winner takes all game in Germany
