I must admit, it doesn't sit right with me

2000 people spread around a 60k stadium should not make a difference.

i dont think the prem will accept it if everyones not equal because whats a few thousand gonna do? cost them whatever they make to host them? Theyre more fortunate and can probably last longer. Lower down the leagues though who's gonna begrudge clubs having fans when they can't if it means their survival? Some things have to take priority surely, not ideal but it it saves some clubs it has to happen.

No, no vote.

I dont see the point for it if its not equal for everyone in the prem, its not a matter of survival at this level is it? Only reason i'd accept it.

Because football is a spectator sport and the sooner we get fans back the better - even if it is a rather insignificant number it is a start.

Genuinely can't work out why this is even an issue.

This is getting such a tired argument. There are many many variables already out in football but having fans back in stadium is apparently what makes football lose integrity, come off it.

I don't think Liverpool should have to play when it's windy? Do ALL clubs play when it's really windy? No, so how is that fair?

posted on 27/11/20

I would never begrudge a fan going to a game if I was in tier 3 , not sure why this is an issue.

I do like how you have used this as a (presumably) ludicrous example:

Exactly that.

Can’t be skipping the important bits like getting the local infection rates down first just to get some fans in the stadium.

Not that I think 2k in a stadium would make too much difference in terms of home advantage anyway.

Just got to deal with it.

yeah i said that on other thread but this amount of fans pretty useless to clubs why risk it why add another variable if its not for club survival etc? Argument is get them back gradually asap fair enough and gives the fortunate who can attend something to do. Is that enough reason idk.

But yeah i said this on another thread, theres so many variables its not asif its fair playing field anyway. like playing the same team twice in winter/christmas when other teams dont. different refs, diff weather, diff pitch conditions, diff teams cause of injuries n rotation playing liverpool with 10/25 players out. 2000 less fans is now an issue?

Just have to overcome these obstacles as we do with everything else really. And if you succeed it adds to the achievement.

The season began with no fans in the stadiums so thats how it should end.

The way that the fairness of the situation is just t0ssed aside as if it doesn't matter by some people is ridiculous.

If we have to have these stupid gestures (2k crowd in a 60k stadium) then make it European knock games where theres 2 legs.

When we are back to normal all grounds should hold the exact same number of supporters, and if any ground doesn't get that number then the game is postponed, otherwise the integrity of the game is in the bin.

At the same ground too. How can it be fair that some clubs have slightly different sizes pitches? I think we all know people have been in uproar about this for the past century.

All games should be on the same day at the same stadium or IT'S JUST NOT FAIR.

Until we make all games of football exactly the same its integrity is in the bin.

I hate football.
