What went wrong:
1. Couldn’t pass to anyone in a Spurs shirt.
2. Couldn’t control a football properly.
3. Couldnt dribble a football without it running away from them.
4. Defence couldn’t organise a straight line.
5. Joe Hart couldn’t see

We missed winks

A phrase I never thought I’d read!
You can be in danger of reading too much into these Europa performances. Obviously there are players who just aren't cutting it and we already knew who they were before this game. They will either need to be sold, or buck their ideas up (if they are the newer guys). We qualified and that is the main thing. Next comes the bigger and more important game.
Let's be honest it's going to be difficult to succeed in both the PL and the Europa. If we have a real shot at going for the PL title then we should prioritise that in favour of Europa if it comes to that.
The players look as bored as the rest of us with these terrible Europa group games.
Doherty, Sanchez, Davies and Hart were the worst of a very bad bunch.
Can we have Doc back now please?
Do we still have the best squad in the league?

Maybe not the best squad in the league but one of the strongest starting teams in the league.

Doherty has made Aurier either look like a better player or actually be better through competition.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aurier has looked a bit better since Doherty came in, so if there is any plus it's that. Not sure I like the idea of either in a big game though, and it's still early days for Doherty I guess.
It's the Europa League lads. You're not going to be up against garbage like in the Prem. Need to lower your expectations a bit.

Absolutely prioritise the Prem. Europa is a very, very difficult competition to win. That said Spurs should be looking to go deep in most competitions.
Be interesting to see what sort of team Jose puts out at Stoke. I suspect he will play the likes of Kane.

prioritise *in place of Europa, I should say.
Few games to go before the Stoke game Sandy, so who knows where we'll be at with availability by then, but I would say winning the League Cup and being in a PL challenge is more doable than PL and Europa. I think a moderately strong team would be ok for that one.
It is true that succeeding in Europe and the PL is an achievement only the select few can achieve..

Has anyone actually managed the 2 from any of the top leagues? Like even got close to winning both?
Lots of teams have won both the league and the champions league, but I don’t know of anyone that’s won the Europa and the league.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly. Seems a struggle to just get top 4 with the Europa let alone win the domestic league.
We only needed a draw and it showed.
No pressing, no breaking up play with little fouls, no real desire.
We got the job done, but it was poor effort.
Fair play to Lask giving a premier league team a good gane.
Any Spurs team containing Hart, Doherty, Sanchez, Davies,Winks & Dele Ali will struggle.... not good enough for the Europa league even...
Lucas Moura was really bad tonight... the players looked like they couldn’t be bothered...

Let me guess Sandy?
Yep he was adamant you had a superior second string side to not only Chelsea but Liverpool and City aswell!
I know it's early days but Bale is looking a poor so far. Doesn't cover the areas Jose wants covered in order for the team to keep shape and not really doing anything with the ball.
I mean, that chance he facked up was as bad as it gets. That should have got a lot more coverage than it did and would have won us the game.
I hope it's just down to fitness, but I'm starting to wonder whether we have facked up with that transfer.
