I don't doubt he's going. But does Fabrizio Romano really have any credibility left? Isn't he just stating what everyone already thinks they know?

Would prefer Garner to stay on loan for another season. Preferably with Watford if they come up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
doubt we can even recall him early anyway.

so for all those desperate to sell pogba asap that would leave us with 4 midfielders for 2 positions for the rest of a congested season (with VDB also having to act as cover for bruno, and matic unable to play eg 6 games running), unless we want to start using TFM/Tuanzebe/jones in midfield.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is why I have suggested weigl. He would be under 20 million if we act fast while his stock value is low. And would come into the side knowing he has to fight for his place and more importantly I think he would do so well.

They are direct quotes from Raiola. Romano isn’t just making up that he said those things.

I'm not saying that he's incorrect on this, he is after all just quoting an interview. I just mean in the sense that he's somehow in the know or ahead of the curve. All that 'here we go' nonesense

Sell him and McTominay and buy a better 6 than matic and a better 8 than Fred

He had a bit of mare over the summer especially with saying reguilón was going to yous before we got him, don't think he's as solid as he once was

He’s usually right when it comes to transfers. If he’s not first to break it he usually credits who did.

He never seems to regurgitate nonsense to be fair to him.

Weigl hasn’t played well for about four or five years. It’s why Dortmund sold him and why he’s a sub for Benfica.

There was serious talks between us and Reguilon but we wouldn’t agree to the buy back clause.

ignoring whether romano is quoting correctly, kung fu should repost his "raiola u-turns" comments, the guy has a history of saying x and then within 48-96 hours changing to y.

???
surely you mean Fabrizio Romano not raiola
raiola talks shiiiit but rarely ever goes back on himself. The only thing close to that is him saying something is his own opinion not his player's

no, i mean raiola, kfc nailed it once, showing all his frequent and pronounced U-turns, often within mere days.

If we'd paid £60m for him people would rave about McTominay. Big, strong, good passer, good defensively, gives 100% every game.

tbf people definitely rave about maguire more because he cost us £80m rather than £20m.

and it's been non-stop raving - think bez on speed - about pogba's price tag.

McT is a decent destroyer nothing more. If we payed £60 mil for him and he did not come through the youth system he would have been ripped apart like fred.
My opinion is that as long as the creative players around a destroyer are doing their jobs, then fred/McT are good enough in that role.

If he didn’t play for us I wouldn’t put it past Ed to spend £60m on him.
