Not really an answer to the article mate. Are Spurs boring, despite scoring the most goals? Simple answer required.
At the moment, Spurs are riding high in the table, so fans are accepting the style of play. In fact, most are convincing themselves that Mourinho's style isn't dire and defensive at all, as this article proves.
But eventually, when Spurs crash out of every competition and end up potless, the questions will be asked. The murmurs of discontent will increase. The poor football style will continue with no sign of any trophies.
Around about next season the situation will be intolerable and Mourinho will be forced out. And before he goes he'll drag Spurs through the gutter. Sorry but that's how it goes with Jose.

I’m finding the football a bit boring at the moment yes, although I think that could be down to the empty stadiums as much as our style of play which I don’t enjoy.

So you are basing your assumption that Spurs will crash out of all competitions. And if they don`t, what then?
If it results in silverware at the end of this season it will have been worth it, if not, serious questions will need to be asked.

Did you also find the last nine months of Poch`s tenure boring, when they couldn`t win away to save their lives, and played in the most boring CL final of any team ever. Never noticed you moaning about boring football then.
When Spurs used the gung-ho style under Poch, the opposition were raving about it, because it offered entertainment to them, and it offered nothing to us, as we would get done by teams that sit deep and are prepared to give away possession (Exactly what we are accused of). You just have to look at the CL final. Liverpool sat deep and played counter attacking football with Spurs have the majority of possession.
Did Klopp use an attacking style to win the CL? No he didn't.
We are now have players who are well coached, well drilled and we don't just play gung-ho football, because we want to get points from games and win as many as we can.
Jose always says when asked "We want to win the next game".
Boring is a relative term. What's boring to me may not be the same to you. The opposition fans and so many of the pundits are actually part of the opposition fans, keep mentioning "boring" aspect because they have a hidden agenda which isn't about Spurs winning games.
I heard an ex-player on ESPN even say this is Spurs, they shouldn't be this well drilled and win matches!
Spurs have the discipline and the manager with winning mentality, and with 2 of the best front pairing in Europe, so of course, they are all talking about Spurs

At least we played in the Champions league and got to finals.....
the football is hard at times to watch as a fan because its defensive football but there is more boring football out there.
Arsenal for instance are far more boring passing side to side with hopeful unsuccessful crosses into the box as the best hope of a goal.
Spurs score a lot of goals because of their style, but their style is still boring as fack. Parking the bus and counterattacking is a bit borinh tbh and has caught teams off guard. Teams will suss it out to some extent soon.

not all teams are equip to play like Liverpool or sometimes City tbh. As i said passing side to side creating little (e.g. Arsenal and spurs pre Poch sacking) is more boring and doesnt get you as many goals either.
teams like United try an expansive style with the risk of being completely bummed as a result

If it’s so easily sussed out, why has Mourinho won something like 8 league titles? Doesn’t sound like many sides have sussed him out at all, hence why he’s one of the most decorated managers of all time.
As others have said, Arsenal’s style of play is far more boring. Jose in the big games has a method and It’s actually quite fun seeing other sides know what’s coming and still fall into the trap.
Jose is a world class manager and the disrespect he gets is shocking.
