Honestly I think arteta should play the EL team in the PL.
I won't be surprised if Arteta is sacked now. Sad, because I actually like the guy. But no manager can survive such a sheet run.

Isn’t his job meant to be very safe
Rumours are that Xhaka was about to leave but Arteta convinced him to stay.
He has costed him his job

I think you seriously under-estimate the interest the board will be showing in this state of affairs

He won't be, remember how long it took to fire Emery. I also think today Arsenal were playing well until the Xhaka sending off and it looked like a matter of time before we scored. But if Arteta is going to turn it around he has to learn from this. Xhaka can't be trusted to play in that midfield. Personally I don't think he should play for Arsenal again. He's had too many chances.

We are losing every game these days. We could play Sheffield United on Tuesday at 9am and still lose.
'weve done this at Leeds'
Yep managed to sneak a draw against a bad team and couldn't even reach those heights today

Xhaka should be transfer listed today. Period!
Arteta is NOT getting sacked - because the board won't give any guarantees to a new manager on selling the dross and buying essential players

Evra going in hard on Xhaka

Pretty interesting stuff
I doubt Henry will appreciate what he just said
How did Willian get to stay on the pitch for more than eighty minutes, that has to be down to the manager who is clueless.
Thank god Wednesday's game isn't televised amywhere.
FOLKS WE NEED THE OWNERS TO BE ON THE FIRING LINE.
Steve Round, assistant to McClaren with England, Allardyce at Newcastle, Moyes at Manchester United and Arteta at Arsenal, could sell a remarkable autobiography one day

Willian doesn't offer much going forwards, he's been a massive disappointment. But it's hard to tell how much of that is lack of confidence, versus a permanent loss in form. And it's not his fault that his competition for that spot has been suspended for the last three games.
If I’m honest sacking Arteta won’t solve the problem
We may have a new manager bounce and climb ourselves up the league maybe win the cup again
But once that honeymoon period finishes we will go back to struggling to keep in the race for Europe, getting beat often, squad making mistakes and then fans calling for the next manager to go
We can sack as many managers and hire as many as we want but at the end of the day for as long as we have a poor squad we will be a poor team

A lot of the players that are still around from Wenger's era are still around. But they are almost out of the door which frees up a lot of wages. Ozil's £350k a week alone amounts to 3 International class players.
Its the perfect time actually for someone maybe like Allegri who has experience to win the Europa and get back to CL. That allows better buying.
If Auba's contract signing delay was about getting a commitment from the board - it's about time he and other senior players started making their voices heard within the club - but it looks like most don't seem to care. Then I se the effort shown by the likes of Tierney and Saka - to know they won't be around for too long
