If I’m honest sacking Arteta won’t solve the problem
We may have a new manager bounce and climb ourselves up the league maybe win the cup again
But once that honeymoon period finishes we will go back to struggling to keep in the race for Europe, getting beat often, squad making mistakes and then fans calling for the next manager to go
We can sack as many managers and hire as many as we want but at the end of the day for as long as we have a poor squad we will be a poor team

A lot of the players that are still around from Wenger's era are still around. But they are almost out of the door which frees up a lot of wages. Ozil's £350k a week alone amounts to 3 International class players.
Its the perfect time actually for someone maybe like Allegri who has experience to win the Europa and get back to CL. That allows better buying.

Allegri has no history of rebuilding a squad or having success in Europe

To be honest - that sounds like our type of manager

what was it? 2 CL finals. not bad.
Forget about rebuilding squads or Europe. Ffs lads, we need a manager that can get us out of a relegation dog fight. What's Sam Allardyce doing nowadays?

If Auba's contract signing delay was about getting a commitment from the board - it's about time he and other senior players started making their voices heard within the club - but it looks like most don't seem to care. Then I se the effort shown by the likes of Tierney and Saka - to know they won't be around for too long
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I thought most of the players at the back were good today, Bellerin still seems a bit tentative, but Gabriel was excellent again and Holding did everything expected of him. In previous seasons Burnley have given us many more problems. I thought Saka was very good, Elneny was decent, Xhaka actually played the ball well and didn't slow everything down. Willian was pretty anonymous, and Lacazette and Auba both look horribly short of confidence, but you thought if we kept creating chances one would go in and they'd quickly find form again.

Leading UKIP marches
Arsenal just making the same mistakes over and over again with their squad building
Easy to say you need to rebuild but it's very hard to do so when nobody wants to buy your players
Sokratis £100k/Wk
Mustafi £100k/Wk
Ozil £350k/Wk
All out of contract next season
Kolsanic £180k/Wk
Lacazette £185k/Wk
Out of season the season after.
Thats c£900k/Week which is more than 50% of clubs in the premier league entire budget per week.

Look at who we have signed since Wenger left though. Gwen, Torreira, Ceballos, Pepe, Willian...just replacing dross with more dross
