Bielik is a colossus. He makes such a difference to the whole feel of the team. He has presence, calmness under pressure and distributes really well with a great range of passing. At this level he is the complete player in that position. I thought Clarke was terrific tonight too.

If this continues those of us who wanted Rooney to get the f out of the club might also need to revise their opinion, me included. Have to say it’s been very impressive and we certainly have not missed Davies at the back.

The front 3 worked their socks off. Waggy always does, Joz has been for the last few games and CKR does everything I used to criticise Chris Martin for not doing enough.

Still not convinced about Bielik. Let's see how he goes for a few games. Bradley Johnson and Jacob Butterfield occasionally had really good games. Surprised how well CKR is doing considering his recent record.happy to proved wrong about that.

Rooney didn't mess about with any of these poncy 2W formations. Just kept it simple, as I keep telling you it's a simple game.

Agree Peeder. Hopefully CKR will soon be on relief duty if we get a bit of quality in when the window opens but I take my hat off to him for his contribution.
