Arteta was a good assistant to the genius that is Pep. But so was Steve McLaren to Fergie. Some people just aren’t good main managers even if they’re good assistant coaches. The sooner Arsenal cut their losses the better. No manager worth his salt loses 3 games at home on the trot let alone 4 or 5 ( if we lose tonight as well)

It's mad that Southampton are comfortably a better side than us in possession and out of possession. They look so much sharper and more dynamic than us, too.

They're winning all the 50-50s and second-balls. They're able to retain possession so well.

thats an easy out.

if we had been mid table, maybe 8th or 9th you can blame players being not good enough.

but no way are these players this bad.

arteta has lost the dressing room.

Can you honestly say the Southampton players are better than Arsenal’s? Not in a million years. But this is top level football where gulf in quality isn’t all that big when the guy in charge knows what he’s on about vs someone who is clueless.

Yeah, I've mentioned this before. What's easier to get rid of - an entire team or one manager?

Arteta will be gone soon, it's only a matter of time.

The only positive from this is that we might be helping Southampton to win the league ahead of Spurs.

The fact this is an issue just shows that players don’t give a feck about Arteta anymore. This is the most basic thing in football
