Didn't we just beat City, Arsenal and draw to Chelsea?
This has fack all to do with bottle. We were played off the park because we have a hopeless manager who is scared of his team having the ball.

What utter nonsense. So you don't give Mourinho any credit for when we beat as you say City, Arsenal and draw to Chelsea????????
But he is hopeless when we lose??????
Geez.

Exactly this. The obsession with this term in Football nowadays is so weird. It’s like supporters don’t want to admit their team isn’t good enough, so revert to ‘bottle’

It's not that you crumble, it's that your tactics are poor and your best players tend to get overused, limiting their effectiveness in these big games.
Also the other layers in your team aren't as good as you think they are, and give you a false impression against weaker opposition, whereas you're seeing their true level in these big games.

Good comment well made.
I still think we crumble going by previous seasons and what we have done but yea I do see your points here for sure.
ManU tearing Leeds a new one .only a few weeks ago this manU team were the worst side in history when we beat them . Now if they win their game in hand they will be 4 points above us.
It does make you laugh when you hear some of the rubbish these days. Soon they’ll be claiming we are title contenders

Yea, he did well in those games and has been awful in the last three.
25 points from 14 games is a pretty average return. We play awful football and if Son/Kane aren't on it we offer nothing.
He's doing a poor job with little signs of progress.

Players like Aurier will always let us down, just when it looks like he has turned the corner and found consistency, he goes and gives away another brainless penalty.
Some of our players are just not good enough, we need a consistent RB and a footballer instead of Sissoko.
I tell you who is weak mentally. The OP, and all the melts laying into our team at the first sign of difficulty.
Don't think it's a mentality thing, think it's more to do with other teams have better quality throughout their teams/squads, than Spurs have.
It's a mentality thing in part last 2 weeks results have gone for us and it was time to step up and make a statement of intent and we failed(yes one game was away to the champions) but how often do we do that... Concede last minute goals.
This isn’t a mentality / bottle thing. It’s a tactical thing. We just don’t get out of first gear ever and out the opposition under any pressure. We very predictable in how we’re going to play. One dimensional.

Theres been loads of games this season under "pressure" that we have won. You can't say we bottle it whenever we lose any game and say that "that was the first game under pressure and we bottled it". That term is thrown about too often by fans who don't understand football
