I'm not going to completely give up on him, but he has been terrible so far.
Expected him to have a much bigger impact. Doubt we will extend the loan.
No, we are seeing now why madrid wanted to get rid of him, lost 2 yards of pace, ok to use in a dead ball situation but defo not a starter in prem league
Was just commenting on same...did utterly fack all yesterday
I don't see how he can become the player he was, I don't think its through lack of trying but he just doesn't have that explosive pace he used to. Think he will be a good impact player for you but can't see him starting too many games. Not a bad player to have on the bench though.

On the plus side...his golf short game is top notch
Hes a prime example of a Mournhino signing. Old and decrepit
Bale has lost his sense of balance, his head is too light, and his back pocket is too heavy.

surprised Utd or Arsenal didn't have him...that's their thing
Mind you the vast majority of those are ex Chelsea to be fair
Seems to have worked on a long throw now that he cant run.

Jose's not planning on staying long thats why hes never really bought players for the future.
I know theres some banter on here between LFC fans and Spurs.
I dont really have any issue with Tottenham personally
Liverpool have been there over the last 25 years previously to Klopp. where theres been plenty of false dawns. Its not easy to take.
I wouldnt have gone in for Mourhino as a manager.. But if he gets you top 4. thats all that matters

a lot of it with him though was hard work , much like Kane, rather than natural talent. Like you say now his desire and focus is no longer there, he looks rubbish.

No doubt every player will be incredibly talented (plenty won't even make it professionally), at the top level you need to be willing to go above and beyond with effort.
Bale has won it all, his record for Madrid was actually very good. He's clearly just done with doing what it takes
For what it's worth I wouldn't say it's impossible that you'll see him improve big time. Just seems very unlikely atm
I was excited at the prospect of Bale coming back even though I knew it wasn't going to be as good the second time round. Still would have hoped for more at this stage but I guess I'll remain open-minded.

well...he has previous here
West Ham result I think has led to him getting less time on the pitch. Since the West Ham result we've got more defensive, scored fewer goals, and means Jose is less likely to give Bale a run.
I think we all knew we wouldn't be getting the bale of old... But at least 70% of it.
But like others have said he looks like he's done with the effort it takes to get it back on your game.
I’m mean I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so, HOWEVER, he’s here now, he’s not been fit or well, so let’s give him a bit more of a chance before writing him off completely.
