Semedo is basically the new Wolves fan's scapegoat, as he is the main thing they can identify that has changed since last season. The fact we surrender the midfield every game and drop to defend on our own 18 yard line as soon as we lose possession is probably more of an issue.

I agree about the midfield, I have said for a long time that is our biggest problem especially in a forward sense. Semedo is alright, but in this system wing backs are critical and we have taken a big step back for me, Doc was made for the role.
I think also what we are seeing with Aït-Nouri is Nuno instructing him to be cautious and get his defending right instead of him playing his natural free game.
Aït-Nouri and Semedo have switched sides for a bit
Fack sake, c'mon, blowing this big time right now

Podence tried to get clever the one time we looked a real threat down that side but decided to flick it back for Semedo and then of course that give away led straight to their goal. Not Semedos fault that of course.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They are the only two on that side. Semedo has missed several chances to get in on goal by not reading what is happening
Equally crap goal to give up. How come we didn't have any CB anywhere near that??

Because 2 of them are out of position. The defence is all at sea.
This game is done unless Nuno changes thing now
Silva and Traore warming up
Fack me we are painful going forward. Like really really feckin crap.

We have 5 defenders and no striker on the pitch. Of course we are.
Surely will go to a back four first won't we? Aït-Nouri hasn't had a good game so maybe he comes of first and one of Neves or Moutinho
Very poor to not be able to get a block in for both goals. Patricio must take control of those situations
First goal wasn't great but the second goal was feckin diabolical
We're basically playing a team who play the percentages and get the ball in the box whenever possible. Instead of aiming to stop that, we have just surrendered the midfield and allowed them to do it.
I used to love Moutinho but now he is incapable of taking a corner I don't care if I never see him again.
Bring back Barry Douglas
Feel sorry for Otasowie. After a great debut, he has been shoehorned into a role that he doesn't really look suited to play.
Moutinho and Neves together in midfield is basically playing with a handbrake fully on
More attack-minded now - wish Traore had been on sooner.

Yeah and still looks better than our other mids amazingly
Had a bad feeling before this one. At the moment it feels like we're stagnating or is it the same old get a few decent results against the big sides but unable to beat the lesser sides?
