Bojo deal, so called, was pretty much 98 % of the May Chequers deal.
I voted leave, see the problems with that and am glad a deal is being done, rather than no deal.
Could be a nice Christmas gift to us all?

He'll have to go through the same processes as May had to so struggling to see your point. Lets just see if the billions that have been spent in the time since that deal have been worth it.
As long as we can shut our borders though eh, you know, which we couldn't do before.... Oh wait, we could, as proven by everyone shutting their ones to us in the last week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
EU opposed eu nations closing borders and oppose Poland and Hungary not obeying eu border and migration Rule Of Law.
As the new strain is in mainland eu Europe and has been for a while, eu nations closing borders to UK was a panic reaction.

Could they do it without this factor? Absolutely. Belgium have done it for a decade. Absolute fallacy that countries don't control their own borders. I love the fact you think that May tried to sneak it through when it had to go through the EXACT same process that every other deal would have to go through.
The fact is that Boris has provided a worse deal than May did, and it has cost billions of pounds more to get to a worse place.
Amazing.

This is also the first trade deal in history where trade barriers actually go UP instead of you know.. being free
He took a deal as a no deal would destroy the country. France closing the boarders leading to the shaite show in Kent gave a taste of what to expect with a no deal. On top of that, all those big businesses that back Brexit moved their businesses or open factories abroad. And the last few deals we have made on our own was piggybacking on the EU deals they made.

Agreed,, and the EU are haggling with UK over 100 species of fish now, sums up the whole thing.

Of course they would. If they gave the UK same access as EU members, what would be the point of being a member? It was utter stupidity of people thinking they'd get the same access without being a part of it. We were touted several different deals before and just after the vote yet no one knew what they meant and liars like Farage and Johnson kept changing what they say they meant. And then there is that stupid mantra "No deal is better than a bad deal" - any deal we do will be bad compared to before. And no deal worse than a bad deal.
If Brexit was going to be great, the money would have flowed in. The Business Men who touted and backed it would not have left it opened their factory in EU instead of the UK.
