It could be great signing, but atm I would hate seeing ESR dropped. If he continues to play he could become our star player, just like Saka.
No he couldn’t play next to partey, he’s a number 10
£40M is ridiculous
He was not that good in the PL last season. Lots of his assists were in the first few months
There were reports Arsenal could get him for as low as £15M a few months ago. Would rather the money went elsewhere.
I’d also hate to given them Willock or Nelson for in a cash plus player deal. On loan, sure, but shouldn’t be selling them.

Do you see either Willock or Nelson having a long term future at the club? I rate Nelson higher than Willock but still see both as below the standard we need, hence why I'd be willing to get rid.
It's a fair point re 40m potentially being too high, but given his form this season it's expected that his stock value will have risen, even compared to a few months ago.
Would much rather buy him than a player with no PL experience (e.g. Auoar), especially if we can offload another player whilst we're at it.
It'd be rather ironic (and very typical of us going business) to retain the services of Mo. Elneny because you know, he runs a lot and use Willock as part-exchange.
I have to admit, I don't know much about Buendia to know if he is worth the £40M but surely at that price, there should be alternatives.
Who's his agent btw?

Where did I mention Xhaka?
It would be a good day if you signed him

I don’t see a long term future for them under Arteta because of the way both have been utilised but I think they could be decent squad options for us in the future at the very least. Both are HG too which is a department we are under stocked in at the moment.

Who's the first?
I love him. He's an inventive dribbler, not just a creative one. His dribbling is top class, he has an eye for goal and seems to know how to play in a team mate.
My only concerns are over defensive work, his positional intelligence (compare him to ESR, for example) and his tendency to hold onto the ball too long.

£40m? Nah.
Maybe half it and send Nelson on loan the other way. I thought Buendia was primarily a right winger, so seems a good swap for Norwich. As he can do CAM too then can back up either ESR and Saka when required.

Of all the young players coming through right now, including Saka and ESR,Nelson is the best of the lot. I would be furious if we lose him.
