Why replace Frank?
Like he said on MOTD, Chelsea are just going through a moment, all teams have them, he needs time
Lampard might get longer to turn it around as he's a club legend and because they would have known from the outset he wasn't a short term fix manager.
Spurs will be the ones watching Ralph with interest when the short term Jose experiment goes bad and they decide they need to start another 'project'.
He's doing a fantastic job with Saints.

OP, I wondered the same thing when I noticed when he took charge of Saints who were all over the shop, and he came in and the next few games after, Saints looked like a well organised and high pressing side - shame no big club is willing to take a punt on him and yet we have two good for nothing "managers" ex-players no exp

fair enough
I think there’s a good chance he’ll become a world class manager. I don’t see that chance with Lampard and I don’t think anyone does really even if they do defend him.
He's a very good manager, think it's only a matter of time until he gets a big move.
If the Arteta project fails I hope Arsenal go for him.

Depends how badly it fails?
Southampton could potentially find themselves with European football next season in the Europa, and if Arsenal are looking for a new manager you'd expect it to have been at their expense.
Arsenal obviously a bigger club and a big draw for any manager but you'd think he'd want to see a season out in Europe with the side he's built up?

I doubt he'd care. A likely one off European adventure or a chance to build back up one of England's biggest clubs, who've been in Europe for 20+ years running. Might be being biased but I know what I would prefer.
Must be something in the water at Southampton.
They have players and managers who seem to become wanted.
Don't always go onto other clubs and do as well but they certainly churn them out
Koeman did well at Southampton but not well since. Not saying Hassenhuttl isn’t a good option for any club, just that I guess just playing devil’s advocate to him being the next Poch
Think he's earnt his chance at a bigger club. Built a good side and kept Leipzig ticking with a growing demand on expectation is tactically sound at Soton now as well. Has had the relevant experience and success I think to have a fair shot at a better side.
The next Spurs manager? Spot-on.
Is Hudson Odoi the next Chelsea manager?
In all seriousness...The only way Ralph leaves is if the owners start dismantling the club and stop backing him.
They backed him big-time with new players and when the team were at their lowest ebb, that counts for alot.
At the point where Southampton lost to Leicester 0-9, they had only won 2 in 10 league matches.
Defeats continued even after the Leicester hammering.
Most other managers would have certainly been fired with such form...takes some guts to believe Ralph could turn it around from there, indebted to them for that.
The next pocchetino despite him being a manager before pocchetino even started
