Laporte is more about his left long passes. He is a good defender but doesnt quite read danger like Dias. Dias long passing isnt sas good but he plays well with Stones who is a good short and long passer.

CBs are important to the build up play from the back which is where Liverpool actually miss van Dijk. Its not defensively but rather his accurate and early passes to the fullbacks
