yeah agree with Tu. Arteta wanted Tomi for Raphinha. Same he will do against Son to keep him out.

Elneny hopefully will do a job against Kane in midfield. Elneny is mobile enough to run with Kane.

Fair point actually, keep forgetting about that ginger caaant. Son will bloody roast Cedric though, Tomi dealt with him v.well at the Emirates.

Son isn’t exactly this tricky skilful winger that embarrasses the likes of Cedric, like Sancho for example. His main trait apart from being a deadly finisher is running in behind opposition defence. Spurs have to take the game to us and we will probably be sitting deeper than usual for most of the game (unless we give away an early goal and end up chasing ). It’s kind of obvious but we just have to keep Kane off the ball as much as possible.

In transition, Cedric just won't be able to deal with Son. Tomi is a much better fit.

Has Cedric played LB for us before? I swear he has.

He definitely has played LB before and I would have played him LB today, but I just can’t see him being thrown in there for a NLD.

Son needs to feel a tough defender on him who cant easily be outplayed and can make the runs he is able to do. So Tomi is here the solution. Cedric is not ideal but would prefer him to Tavares in that kind of game.

I expect Spurs playing and beginning in the same way they began at Anfield. They will running at us and try to score early.

Liverpool’s back 4 play on the halfway line though.
