I'm not defending him blindly, but on a holistic approach he came in, halted our slide and now seems to be slowly moving us forwards again, whilst buying young players along the way. Football has been hit and miss but he concentrated on defence first, so that's to be expected.

I don't think kneejerking after today is helpful

He’s also rid the dressing room of all the poisonous characters, changed the culture of the club for the better, and the match day atmosphere in the stadium is all the better for it too.

Apart from that though... what have the Romans ever done for us?
