Look without European football we cannot bring any players in. So we will get stuck in midtable and then will need to find a manager to outperform his players. Arteta can't out perform good players so whats left. Board are not that stupid.

I think we target Bredan Rodgers.

I guarantee you now if we finish 10th and get knocked out of, say, the quarters of the EL, he will keep his job. They will try to back him in Summer and then see how he does in 2021/22 season.

I'm telling you. We'd need to go on a catastrophic run of form for him to be sacked.

It'd be catastrophic, especially at the back of a pandemic.

Yeah and he still kept his job even when there was a very good argument for him needing to go then.

If we go on that sort of run again, then I think he'll be in danger. But unless it gets to that point, he's here til at least the end of the year.

The problem with former refs being used as experts is that they will always back the ref

I reckon if we asked him privately what he thought he'd say that was a pen and that he wouldn't have sent off Luiz

I think publicly they back each other

Stuart Attwell is the ref and it is on Sky Sports
