Thought I was turning Southampton v Arsenal on, seems it is a Les Ferdinand documentary instead.

The experiment of Tomyasiu at left back needs to stop it doesn't help the balance of the team. The only acceptable explanation could be that there are still concerns of Tierney playing two games in a week, that in itself would be a concern.

Tom at LB is one of those if not broken, don’t fix it. He seems a bit more confident playing inside with the midfield than KT does atm. KT fitness is dodgy as heck, not worth risking that either.

Arteta doesn't rate Tierney in the role he wants the LB to play.

Tierney's natural instinct to hug the wing. That leaves a huge whole behind Xhaka.

Arteta still picks Tierney when we play 4-2-3-1 so its not like there is no position for him at the club.

Only if Nuno continues to develop in France.

Just hope we approach this game with a better attitude than we did vs Leeds. Need to be much better on the ball. Southampton will press us any chance they get.

KT getting his career murdered by Artits

I'd prefer to see KT in but he isn't dependable enough to play twice a week regularly. I wouldn't be surprised to see KT start against Forest though and he will play the last 2 EL games as well as the cup game vs Brighton. Plenty of matches for him to feature in before the WC break. Tomi will probably come back in to left back vs Chelsea.
